Live internet debate on the 15 questions for evolutionists today

On August 10, 2012 at 10pm Eastern Standard Time in the United States (which is today), the popular Christian YouTube channel video creator Shockofgod and a gentleman who has post high school training in biology, will be debating live the 15 questions for evolutionists of the Question Evolution! Campaign with an evolutionist or evolutionists.

You can listen to the live debate at his Free chat room

So far all his debates with evolutionists on the 15 questions have been uploaded to YouTube.

Below are a few of them that I am aware of:

Disgrunted atheists from a childish website which contains filthy language

There are some atheists from a rather childish website who make the claim that debaters against Shockofgod have been banned due to Shockofgod not being able to respond to their questions. They have made some comments to this blog with these allegations which I believe I ignored. Given the amount of filthy language on their website, I will not disclose their website name.

I do find it ironic and humorous that atheists often make unsupported claims. Yesterday, Shockofgod said in his Free chat room that he has done about 60 debates with atheists/agnostics. If you go to his YouTube channel, there are a lot of recorded debates he has uploaded. I believe he may have uploaded every debate or at least nearly every debate he has had with an atheist or agnostic to his YouTube channel.

Shockofgod wins hands down every debate with atheists/agnostics and I will let readers judge if this is true by listening to the recorded debates on his YouTube channel. I also know he could win a debate against any atheist or agnostic quite easily. Any reasonably prepared Christian can win a debate against an atheist or agnostic due to the utter weakness of atheism and agnosticism (Below is a video a 15 year old young man showing how foolish two adults are from the TheAtheistExperience show). If their allegation is true, then why did all those atheists/agnostics debate Shockofgod?

If they have proof and evidence of their allegation, let them provide it.

Furthermore, given their allegation, I do find it humorous that they are not challenging Shockofgod to an audio debate at a mutually agreed upon internet forum. This seems very suspicious to me and an indication that they are merely disgruntled atheists/agnostics who are resentful that Christians win all the prominent debates with atheists and agnostics. No doubt that is why Richard Dawkins and the British Humanist Society were afraid to debate William Lane Craig.

Also, be aware that in order for any comments to be approved for this post, atheists/agnostics will have to support their accusations and not merely toss them onto the internet like some greasy spoon short order cook.

  1. Live debates are all about who has the most charisma. Creationists want them because Creationism is more simplistic. It's easy to explain. Evolutionists have to correct all the the Creationist errors and explain the theory properly which doesn't sound as good.

    1. Joshua,

First, although it is an lame excuse, thank you for implying that evolutionists, atheists and agnostics often lack charisma. Here is the etymology of the word enthusiasm: [Late Latin enthsiasmus, from Greek enthousiasmos, from enthousiazein, to be inspired by a god, from entheos, possessed : en-, in; see en-2 + theos, god; see dhs- in Indo-European roots.

John Updike wrote: "Among the repulsions of atheism for me has been its drastic un-interestingness as an intellectual position. Where was the ingenuity, the ambiguity, the humanity of saying that the universe just happened to happen and that when we're dead we're dead? "

Also, you may want to read our article: How stale and boring is evolutionary indoctrination? Is the public fooled or are they suspicious? What is the trend? at http://questionevolution.blogspot.com/2012/05/is-public-tiring-of-hearing.html

Next, the notion that evolutionism cannot be conveyed to people in a simplistic way is a falsehood admitted by evolutionists themselves: http://creation.com/evolution-childs-play

Lastly, if there is one thing that evolutionists, atheists and agnostics exceed at is making excuses. Although they will be falsehoods easily dispelled, there is no reason why an evolutionists cannot attempt to launch attacks against creation science in a debate.
