Case study of an internet evangelism ministry which also did creation evangelism

Case study of an internet evangelism ministry which also did creation evangelism

In 2006, a small internet evangelism organization reported having an operating budget of $250,000. Although they did primarily internet evangelism they did creation evangelism as well.

Here is what they reported accomplishing via their various web properties and via social media properties in 2006:

- 10.7 million web visitors

- over 23,000 people indicated making first time Christian commitments

 Questions:

1. How many websites does this small internet ministry have?

2. How many other web properties cite them via links?

3. How much web traffic do their websites have?

Now I want to first say that the estimates below are conservative estimates as I believe due to unfortunate circumstances beyond the ministries control they are less active. Things happen in life - accidents, illnesses, etc. etc.  You just have to roll with the punches. As a result, their web properties have lost traffic according to web traffic tracking companies.  Also, keep in mind the internet was less competitive in 2006 and there were less people on the internet.

Nevertheless, below are the results they are getting according to Compete.com and some additional cursory research our Question Evolution! group did.

Christian alliances and assistance: Christians helping each other spread our various messages is important as various ministries have different focuses/specialties. So it is common for other Christian ministries to link to each others websites and write articles about each others ministries or help each other ministries in one form or another. This is important for Creation Ministries International because one effective way to defeat Darwinism is to inoculate Christian young people against evolutionary indoctrination.

Also, keep in mind that some internet ministries are primarily website based whereas others are more social media based. Some are a mixture of the two. In addition, a ministry may own multiple web properties which link to each other. Furthermore, many internet evangelism organizations have separate websites for various languages.

Stats for the small internet evangelism ministry:

Number of web properties the ministry owns which are in English:  23 web properties (the ministry may own websites in other languages)

Total web traffic of  these 23 web properties in 2012 according to Compete.com (only the English speaking web properties):  323,000 unique web visitors

Total number of links to these 23 web properties  from outside websites supporting their ministry keeping in mind their 23 web properties in the English language could be linking to each other: 90,000 links to the 23 web properties

Plus, the ministry did gospel outreaches via properties like Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, etc.

So it certainly appears that even a small internet evangelism ministry can form a LOT of alliances and friendships with various ministries/Christians and gain assistance from them via their websites plus any social media efforts they have.

Refuting evolution

Friday, October 19, 2012

More signs that Bible believers are aggressively using the internet for evangelism plus a major internet evangelism organization is cementing a relationship with the Question Evolution! Campaign and Creation.com next week

The major internet evangelism organizations are driving millions of visitors to their organization's websites.

Recently, we posted two articles on how our Question Evolution! Campaign is working to get involved in internet evangelism and how we are establishing relationships with internet evangelism organizations:

Internet evangelism and the Question Evolution! Campaign

4 key pillars for defeating Darwinism

In October of 2012 an internet evangelism organization will start sending visitors to Question Evolution! material and Creation.com

We believe that we can help Creation Ministries International increase their internet evangelism and teach people about biblical creation as part of the discipleship process.  In addition, we are working out relationships where internet evangelism organizations send people to the website of Creation.com and its 15 questions that evolutionists cannot satisfactorily answer. Next week we expect a major internet evangelism organization to establish links from one of their main websites to the website of Creation Ministries International. Specifically, the internet evangelism organization Network211.

Later today, we are sending a second email to a very kind and generous Christian gentlemen in India who engages in internet evangelism. We received a positive response in our first email and he requested a second email.  He has been engaged internet evangelism for over a decade. See also: October 15,  has been a great day for the Question Evolution! Campaign and it's still early in the day! and  The Question Evolution! campaign is making greater inroads into India

In 2013, our group wants to establish additional ties to internet evangelism organizations and Christian colleges and universities who want to enter into internet evangelism (see: news story below).

At any give time, there are 200-300 Christian grants for evangelism and by the first quarter of 2013 or sooner, we expect to have a grant writing team in place as a person who successfully obtained a Christian grant money expressed interest in writing a grant in the beginning of next year.  See: We are off to the races as far as developing our creation vs. evolution fundraising abilities and Winning the creation vs. evolution war with the help of fundraising skills

Internet evangelism and the Question Evolution! Campaign

Let's examine how internet evangelism and the Christian discipleship process could be an excellent fit to the Question Evolution! Campaign and its 15 questions for evolutionists.

First, a review of a previous post we made. On October 6, 2012 we made a post which was the second part of a two part article and entitled  Making 2013 be the WORST year in the history of evolutionism, atheism and agnosticism - Part 2  I also recommend reading the first part of the article in order to gain sufficient context. See:  Making 2013 be the WORST year in the history of evolutionism, atheism and agnostiism - a quick introduction

Case study of an internet evangelism ministry which also did creation evangelism

There are large internet evangelism ministries which are achieving big results. If you haven't read our article entitled Internet evangelism is powerful especially when it is combined with creation evangelism
I would encourage you to do so.

Are there any small internet evangelism ministries achieving significant results?

In 2006, a small internet evangelism organization reported having an operating budget of $250,000. Although they did primarily internet evangelism they did creation evangelism as well.

Here is what they reported accomplishing via their various web properties and via social media properties in 2006:

2013/2014 and internet evangelism

We want to help Creation Ministries International with their internet evangelism efforts. See: Internet evangelism is powerful especially when it is combined with creation evangelism

Creation Ministries International does report people becoming Christians after being exposed to the gospel and sometimes people preface their gospel message with some information on biblical creation.  Genesis does talk about the fall of man which is when sin entered into the world. In addition, the creation is a very important issue for biblical Christianity. See: Importance of origins

Also, Creation Ministries International does have a web page listed prominently on their main page titled Good news which does give a gospel presentation. We would like to help Creation Ministries International drive a lot of people to messages like this at their website.

There are 6 ministries which I am aware of that have a big focus on internet evangelism.  So far our Question Evolution! group has contacted 2 of these organizations. There maybe more, especially when you consider non-English countries, but we are not yet aware of them.

In 2013/2014, we want to contact the remainder of these 6 organization plus we want to help spawn other organizations such as these. We really believe that internet evangelism can be a tremendous boon to creation evangelism.  Why? As part of the Christian discipleship process, we can teach people about biblical creation.  New Christian believers are often  very teachable especially if they are young people.  Older people who are wise are also very teachable. Unfortunately, not all adults are wise!

Alan Beeber who works with Global Media Outreach (an arm of Campus Crusade for Christ)   predicted in 2006 that internet evangelism will help result in more conversions that all other forms of evangelism for CCCI combined. Of course, it is ultimately God who is responsible for conversions.

I would encourage you to examine these 3 resources on internet evangelism:

1.  Internet evangelism is powerful especially when it is combined with creation evangelism

2.   Global Media Outreach 2011 report

3. Internet evangelism day

Making 2013 be the WORST year in the history of evolutionism, atheism and agnosticism - Part 2

2013 is rapidly approaching. It will be here before you know it. The biblical figure Job said "My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle..."

Accordingly, on October 5, 2013, we published an article entitled  Making 2013 be the WORST year in the history of evolutionism, atheism and agnostiism - a quick introduction

In this article, our Question evolution! campaign group will further refine our group's vision for 2013. As we mentioned previously, 2012 was a very bad year in the history of Darwinism - just like predicted!  See our article 2012 has been a very BAD year for Darwinism and atheism just like we predicted!

We are definitely going to help the Christian community keep the momentum going! We want to make 2013 the ABSOLUTE worst year in the history of evolutionary belief, atheism and agnosticism!

Making 2013 be the WORST year in the history of evolutionism, atheism and agnosticism via Christian alliances

A few more reasons why 2013 will be the worst year in the history of Darwinism. atheism and evolutionism:

The famous military strategist Sun Tzu wrote in his classic work The Art of War:
If an enemy has alliances, the problem is grave and the enemy's position strong; if he has no alliances the problem is minor and the enemy's position weak.
Common sense indicates that it is easier for someone to become a biblical creationist and believe the scientific evidence supports the biblical account of creation if they are already a Christian. Also, new Christians are often more teachable. A stiff-necked dogmatic atheist who loves his sin is far less likely to become a biblical creationist.

Also, we know that internet evangelism can be done on a very large scale.

For example, in June of 2011, the internet evangelism organization Global Media Outreach reported:
Worldwide:

• Shared the Gospel with more than 150 million people

• Saw 19,287,789 indicate that they prayed in faith to receive Jesus Christ

• With 2,550,732 requesting follow-up from one of our 7,588 trained volunteer online missionaries

• 4,507,155 discipleship visits

• All 195 countries
In our post Making 2013 be the WORST year in the history of evolutionism, atheism and agnostiism - a quick introduction we gave some cursory information on how many additional alliances Creation Ministries International could gain if they did internet evangelism on a large scale plus engaged in creation evangelism and promoting the Question Evolution! Campaign via its  15 questions for evolutionists web page and other resources which are developed.

Also, we also did a post on fundraising in order to better achieve big goals to further internet evangelism and creation evangelism. See: Winning the creation vs. evolution war through more firepower

Since all big efforts initially start small in order to refine their operating procedures, let's examine a small internet evangelism ministry.

Case study of an internet evangelism ministry which also did creation evangelism

In 2006, a small internet evangelism organization reported having an operating budget of $250,000. Although they did primarily internet evangelism they did creation evangelism as well.

A is for taking massive action

In the last 5 years, Christians have been a lot more active on the internet. Websites like Biblegateway.com and Christianpost.com have done an outstanding job of creating useful content and aggressively promoting their websites among Christendom. They are seeing millions of visitors a month to their websites.

It is time for believers in biblical creation to get their message out within Christendom and throughout the world in a big way!  There are certain fundamental principles in life. We learn these ABCs and get better at them as time goes on. One thing high achievers can tell you is that if you want massive results in life, it often requires massive action.

We want to help Creation Ministries International with their internet evangelism efforts. See: Internet evangelism is powerful especially when it is combined with creation evangelism

"If we dedicate ourselves over and over again to the goal of climbing one peak to the next…resisting the urge to become discouraged by the task-every one of us can become a high achiever." - John R. Noe

Take action today!

We believe we have developed a sound 12 point plan for helping Christianity rapidly expand and for shrinking evolutionism, atheism and agnosticism.

Is global atheism really on the rise or is it declining? Plus, our agenda for future articles

Is global atheism and agnosticism declining or increasing?

One of the world's survey companies recently claimed global atheism is one the rise. Although we will be addressing this issue more in depth in a subsequent post, the article GLOBAL ATHEISM ON THE RISE--REALLY? by Nigel Tomes is a good start.

Also, be sure to read this entire blog post as we have some exciting blog posts coming up that you definitely will not want to miss.

One of the issues we will focus on in an upcoming article is the growth of Christianity in China. For example, we will discuss the house church movement in China. In the meantime, we suggest reading this article: Christianity gaining popularity in China. Of course, what happens in China has a big effect on global atheism due to its large population and the fact that it has an atheistic communist regime.

Winning the creation vs. evolution war with the help of strong fundraising

Winning battles often requires "getting there firstest with the mostest".

An effective grassroots Question Evolution! Campaign strongly advancing Christianity and biblical creationism via the 15 questions for evolutionists, requires a good supply line via fundraising. It can really help expand the reach of the campaign, fund various initiatives and  fund a general operating budget.

Important questions relating to the future of creation evangelism:

1. Does our Question Evolution! Campaign group have members within it who have big Christian internet followings? When does our next volunteer recruiting drive start? How big of a recruiting drive will it be?

2. How will creation evangelism be increased by 400%?

3. From a practical standpoint, fundraising potential is often linked to how much good you can do. Is there more fundraising potential for internet evangelism combined with creation evangelism than for creation museums? If so, how much fundraising potential is available?

4. When is our Question Evolution! Campaign starting our fundraising efforts? Is it around the corner?

Some current fundraising for biblical creationism and intelligent design

1. The Creation Museum inn Kentucky cost approximately $27 million dollars and it was funded through private donations.

2. The Intelligent Design community is smaller than the creationist community. Yet, the Discovery Institute in 2007 reported an operating budget of 4.2 million dollars.

Fundraising potential for internet evangelism combined with creation evangelism

I have read about various ways to do fundraising. There are many ways of fundraising and our group is open to many of them.

Let take a look at one particular way fundraising for Christian evangelism - namely, grant writing.

According to a Christian grant writing expert, at any given time there are about 200-300 Christian grants for evangelism.

As of 2011, one Christian foundation gives $5,000 to $50,000 grants for Christian evangelism and the foundation has approved grants in the million-dollar range as well. There is a lot of potential for fundraising in the Christian evangelism grant writing area. I know of one internet ministry with a decent size staff that received a large grant which funded their entire ministry for several years. And it wasn't even a internet evangelism website.

Previously, I mentioned that 145 million gospel presentations in a year was done by one internet evangelism organization alone. Of those 145 million people, 20 million people responded favorably and said they prayed about becoming a Christian.

So there is much good that can be done through internet evangelism - especially if it is done in an ethical manner and it asks people to make a firm commitment (for example, informs them they need to repent). Please see our post about the potential benefits and efficiency of combing internet evangelism followed up by creation evangelism: Internet evangelism is powerful especially when combined with creationism evangelism

Fundraising and paying the price

The foundation of fundraising in having a worthwhile endeavor to fund and keeping a lid on unnecessary costs in your proposal. People want to see a big bang for buck when it comes to donations. I believe a good case can be made that internet evangelism followed by creation evangelism is more efficient than creation museums in terms of expanding the biblical creationism pie in the world. It explosively increases creation evangelism by 400% or more as indicated in our post 20 million extra people a year hearing biblical creationism

Second, fundraising often requires you to make multiple appeals in multiple ways. There is no silver bullet. But to the pleasantly persistent person or organization, it is very doable. You just need to put some effort into it and be willing to hear the word no sometimes.

Remember this saying when it comes to fundraising:  rejection builds character! Your going to hear the word no sometimes. Sometimes it is just a matter of timing plus some people have different visions and priorities. But that is wholly understandable. There are many things which have to be done within the body of Christ and within the world at large.

So when do our fundraising efforts begin? In due time, my evolutionist friend.  In due time!
