The new Latin American Pope and the future of Darwinism. Also, Latin American history, European history and the Eurocrisis show that global Darwinism is going to diminish in influence

A new Roman Catholic Pope was elected and was the first non-European Pope in modern history. This is not good news for Darwinism and is the start of an unfavorable trend within Catholicism as far as Darwinism.  The sphere of influence within Catholicism is shifting away from secular Europe.

Although biblical creation belief and creationism is making fast inroads in various places in Europe and Darwinism is ultimately doomed in Europe, Darwinism is even growing weaker faster in Latin America. See: European creationism and Rise of young earth creationism in Mexico and  Creationism is growing in Brazil and spilling into its neighbors

Furthermore, we are translating the Question Evolution further into Spanish. See: Translating the campaign into Spanish and Our Peruvian translator

The Eurocrisis and the Euro are a big problem for secular Europe

The ongoing problem of the Eurocrisis and future problems with the Euro will prove to a be a significant problem for secular Europe. See: Spiegel says a one trillion dollar firewall won't be enough and Spiegel: Is the Eurocrisis about to return?  and Euro crisis

The last time Europe had significant problems it was bad news for foolish Latin American Darwinist notions

Third, an excerpt from an article  relating to Darwinism/social Darwinism in Latin America and former problems in Europe:
Turning this into policy, they promoted mass migration from Europe "to 'whiten' and so 'evolve' their people". They "argued that 'whitening' their nations' stock through interbreeding was the only path to societal improvement". The result was spectacular: more than 11 million immigrants came from Britain, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Portugal and Spain. These people were encouraged to become land owners and to develop leadership roles.

"By 1900, people of European origin dominated society in Argentina and Uruguay. [. . .] European ideas and values spread across Latin America at the expense of Amerindian and African American ones, with the establishment of European-style cities and institutions."
The ideology pendulum swung away from this when the European continent disintegrated in World War I, followed some years after by economic turmoil. "The death toll of the First World War demonstrated that Europeans had not evolved into superior human beings. A decade later, the Great Depression swept away the export economies underlying modernization in Argentina at least as much as it did in Mexico and Peru, belying the notion that the whitening of the population would lead to permanent social progress.
If you think the decline of secular Europe is not going to diminish the influence of Darwinism in the world, you are sadly mistaken.  For example, during the time of the Japanese post-war economic miracle when Japan's economy was doing well, it's culture and the ideas within its culture received more press exposure and influence. When the Japanese miracle turned into a two decade economic slump, its culture lost influence in the world.

Will future historians see May through August of 2011 as being a major turning point in the Christianity vs. atheism/Darwinism culture war

Questions:

1. Will future historians see the May through August period of 2011 as being a as on of the major turning points in the Christianity vs. atheism/evolutionism culture war? If so, why?

2. Does external pressure often spark communities and people to make unforced  errors so their plight becomes worse? In other words, a downward and reinforcing cycle of loss of confidence and infighting?

3. Is atheism/agnosticsm suffering from a downward cycle of loss of confidence and infighting?

4. Are believers in biblical Christianity and biblical creation seeing experiencing a reinforcing cycle of growing confidence and enthusiasm and growth in their world communities?

5. In May/June of 2011, were there signs that a worldwide grassroots movements were forming or gaining in momentum  in both the areas of Christian apologetics (defense of Christianity)  and the defense of biblical creation?

5 reasons why future historians may see the period of May through August of 2011 as being one of the major turning points in the atheism vs. Christianity culture war

Many times societal, economic and ideological collapses play themselves out over a series of decades, years or months and it is not singular events which causes a collapse. For example, the fall of the Soviet Union was definitely a setback for atheism and the secular left. Also, the current current economic crisis in secular Europe is likely to adversely affect atheism, agnosticism and evolutionism.

The financial writer Michael Snyder wrote in June of 2012:
Many people hype “the coming economic collapse" as if it is some kind of big summer Hollywood blockbuster.  Many people out there write about it as if it is something that will happen in a single day or over a few weeks and that it will suddenly change how the entire world functions.  But that is not how the financial world works.  The financial world is like a game of chess – very slow and methodical.  Yes, there are times when things happen very quickly (like back in 2008), but even that crisis played out over a number of months.  Sadly, most Americans are not used to thinking in terms of months or years.  These days, most Americans have the attention span of a goldfish and most Americans have been trained to expect instant gratification.  They are simply not accustomed to being patient and to wait for things.  Well, despite what you may have read, the economic collapse is not going to be a single event.  It is going to play out over quite a few years.

It is often said that the victors often write history.

There is an abundance of evidence that in the Christianity vs. atheism/agnosticism/evolutionism culture and spiritual war that there are going to be some influential Christians writing about the conflict between Christianity vs. atheism. Biblical Christianity is seeing a global resurgence which will affect the Western World.  See: Atheism/Darwinism vs.biblical Christianity/creationism

The secular academic Eric Kaufmann using a multitude of demographic studies argues in an academic paper entitled Shall the Righteous Inherit the Earth? Demography and Politics in the Twenty-First Century that the decline of atheism in terms of its global adherents is an established trend that will persist for the foreseeable future and the rate of decline will accelerate. See: Why are the years 2012 and 2020 key years for Christian creationist and pro-lifers

5 signs that Christianity will prevail in the current Christianity vs. atheism/evolutionism culture war:

1. On May 14, 2011, the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph published a news story entitled Richard Dawkins accused of cowardice for refusing to debate existence of God.

In a letter to fellow evolutionist Richard Dawkins which was subsequently quoted by The Daily Telegraph, Oxford University atheist Dr. Daniel Came wrote concerning Dawkins' refusal to debate the Christian apologist Dr. William Lane Craig: "The absence of a debate with the foremost apologist for Christian theism is a glaring omission on your CV and is of course apt to be interpreted as cowardice on your part."

On August 19, 2011, Fox News reported  in a news article entitled Christian Philosopher William Lane Craig Is Ready to Debate, but Finds Few Challengers:
American Evangelical theologian William Lane Craig is ready to debate the rationality of faith during his U.K tour this fall, but it appears that some atheist philosophers are running shy of the challenge. This month president of the British Humanist Association, Polly Toynbee, pulled out of an agreed debate at London’s Westminster Central Hall in October, saying she “hadn’t realized the nature of Mr. Lane Craig’s debating style.”

Willam Lane Craig, who is a professor of philosophy at Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, Calif., and author of 30 books and hundreds of scholarly articles, is no stranger to the art of debate and has taken on some of the great orators, such as famous atheists Christopher Hitchens and Sam Harris. Harris once described Craig as “the one Christian apologist who has put the fear of God into many of my fellow atheists”.

Responding to Toynbee’s cancellation, Lane Craig commented: "These folks (atheists) can be very brave when they are alone at the podium and there's no one there to challenge them. But one of the great things about these debates is that, it allows both sides to be heard on a level playing field, and for the students in the audience to make up their own minds about where they think the truth lies."
2. In June of 2011, Creation Ministries International launched the worldwide grassroots Question Evolution! Campaign.A supporter of the Question Evolution! wrote of the campaign:
Michael B., United States, 8 October 2011

This is a grand movement and I’m glad it has begun. Our youth are indoctrinated very early to believe every word spoken about evolution without questioning. Creation Science has so much to offer and new discoveries are being made almost every day in this exciting new field of science...
The Question Evolution! Campaign features 15 questions that evolutionists  cannot effectively answer.  As you can see by the video below, the atheist/evolutionist community has been unable to effectively respond to the Question Evolution! Campaign.

3. On July 2, 2011, an abrasive Richard Dawkins made inappropriate remarks to the atheist woman Rebecca Watson and the incident has since been dubbed Elevatorgate.  No doubt being very publicly labeled a coward and having a worldwide grassroots anti-evolution campaign launched by a leading biblical creation organization contributed to the already abrasive Richard Dawkins being a very grumpy and irritable old man.

The New Statesman reporter and fellow skeptic David Allen Green said he believed Richard Dawkins was a sexist. In addition, Green wrote: "Can Richard Dawkins still credibly pose as a champion of rational thinking and an evidence-based approach? In my opinion, he certainly cannot, at least not in the way he did before."

In the aftermath of Elevatorgate, Mindy an skeptic blogger at Rebecca Watson's website Skepchick wrote concerning  Richard Dawkins: "“I look forward to watching your legacy crash and burn,” and “you don’t get a second chance.”

Jacques Rousseau wrote in the Daily Maverick: "Elevatorgate..has resulted in three weeks of infighting in the secular community. Some might observe that we indulge in these squabbles fairly frequently." An ex-atheist wrote : "As an Atheist for 40 years, I noticed that there is not just a wide variety of Atheist positions, but there exists an actual battle between certain Atheist factions."

Richard Dawkins may have had a chip on his shoulder as well post the William Lane Craig debate challenge and charges of cowardice.  His abrasive remarks to Rebecca Watson could have been Dawkins trying to be a "big man on the atheist campus".  Well, if this is the case, Dawkins's remarks didn't work out so well, did they?

The Elevatorgate has caused the factious atheist community to be even more fractured in a significant way with various factions of atheism criticizing or supporting Richard Dawkins's remarks after the Elevatorgate incident.

4. In her book Confidence: How Winning Streaks and Losing Streaks Begin and End, the  Harvard University Business School professor Rosabeth Moss Kanter writes about how success often breeds success and how failure often breeds more failure. And make no mistake, atheism and evolutionism are intellectually failing and they are failing to developing a winning culture as a community as well.

Specifically, atheism/agnosticism/evolution community appears to be have been affected by this very public atheist/agnostic loss of nerve and cowardice and the resulting fallout of Elevatorgate.

Although Richard Dawkins is a flip flopper when it comes to the atheism and agnosticism issue, in May/June he was still seen as the standard bearer of atheism/agnosticism. See: Is Richard Dawkins a flp-flopper

Below are two web traffic graphs of Richard Dawkins's website in terms of global market share according to the leading website web traffic tracking firm Alexa:

The leftist/atheist/evolutionist PZ Myers and other atheists/evolutionist have attempted to unify and energize the atheist community post Elevatorgate by launching an atheist/agnostic blogging community but that effort has largely failed and the various atheist factions are still squabbling post Elevatorgate.

Lack of leadership within the atheism and evolutionist communities

Crisis and problems can either bring out the best in a community or have a community descend into denialism, bitterness and infighting.

It is clear from the articles below which path the atheist, agnostic and evolutionist communities have chosen to confront the explosive growth of biblical Christianity and biblical creation belief.

Intellectual defense of Christianity movement  growing

Ratio Christi is a global movement that equips university students and faculty to give historical, philosophical, and scientific reasons for following Jesus Christ.

In May of 2011, the Christian apologetics organization Stand to Reason wrote:

Ratio Christi, a fairly new apologetics organization that is seeking to change the intellectual atmosphere at universities by bringing Christianity into public, academic discussion. Their goal is to start on-campus apologetics clubs at 500 universities in the next five years. This is where you come in--because it’s also Ratio Christi’s goal to connect each of these clubs with a person who has been trained in apologetics (but who probably has a different day job) to act as chapter director. Ratio Christi helps each chapter organize one or two campus-wide events a year by connecting them with speakers and debaters like William Lane Craig and Gary Habermas, helping them find the funding, etc. But after the event has come and gone, the lay apologist is still there to lead discussions and interact with the Christians, skeptics, atheists, and seekers who may never have realized that Christianity has a weighty intellectual tradition behind it.

Creation Ministries International which historical been involved in general Christian apologetics in addition to main focus of biblical creation apologetics has decided to promote general Christian apologetics more via a book entitled Christianity for Skeptics  which was co-authored by Dr. Steve Kumar and Dr. Jonathon Sarfati

No doubt this will better enable Creation Ministries International and their fans  to network more easily with Christian apologetic organizations and other Christians.  Checkmate atheists and evolutionists! See: 4 pillar of defeating Darwinism

Reducing global evolutionary belief through the wide distribution of Question Evolution! material in multiple languages

Imagine the effects of  Question Evolution! Campaign  material being translated into multiple languages and widely distributed across the globe.  Such material would not only have a devastating effect on global evolutionary belief, but it could also further unite creationists around the world.

Next, picture in your mind a Christian ministry which trains Christian film makers and the effect they could have at reaching the world through Christian film and video.  You don't have to imagine too hard as the Christian News Wire service just released a story titled Makers of 'The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment' DVD Launch Ministry to Train Filmmakers

The ministry they launched is called the Advent Filmmakers' Center for Training and Discipleship. Also, Web Video University often gives out 47 quality free sample web video courses.  There is no reason why more supporters of the Question Evolution! Campaign cannot learn video and film making skills - especially with ministries like the Advent Film Makers' Center.

Pretty exciting stuff, isn't it? We know it would have a significant  effect since evolutionists cannot effectively answer the 15 questions for evolutionists.

Contemplate the impact of a quality Question Evolution! Campaign material being translated into Spanish, German, Russian, French, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Dutch, various other languages spoken in Europe and other languages in the world as well. Do the same for more and more free Question Evolution! videos coming out which could be dubbed into other languages.

I spoke to a Chinese Pastor who is a big fan of Creation Ministries International and he was extremely excited about the idea of a anti-evolution material being distributed in China. He suggested many ways it could be widely disseminated such as the internet and via Chinese Christian college students studying in America. Not many people know this, but Chinese Christianity exploding across China was sparked by Chinese college students studying in the United States who became Christians and then returned to China.

Large negative impact of a Darwinian book being translated into Chinese

One of the most popular articles on our website is the article World's biggest atheist population about to see a big decline which discusses how biblical Christianity is spreading like wildfire in the Chinese countryside and  in Chinese cities. With China conceivably having the majority of the world's atheists, Chinese Christian evangelism is on its way to desolate the world atheist population through atheists converting to Christianity.

Consider this:

Yan Fu (1854-1921), a famous Chinese intellectual, was the first to introduce Darwinian ideas to China. He is well-known for his 1808 translation of Thomas Huxley's Evolution and Ethics, which sparked the dissemination of evolutionary ideas in China. Also, his work had a profound social impact due to Darwinism helping to spawn the murderous ideology of Chinese atheistic communism.

Two important questions:

1. Given the rapid rise of Christianity in China, couldn't material which rips apart evolutionary quackery which is widely distributed significantly speed up the Christianization of China?

2. Given the fast growth of global Christianity and the quickly growing trend of internet evangelism, isn't it likely it could have a significant impact in other countries as well - especially where biblical Christianity is already rapidly growing?

Christianity has become much more of a global religion in recent years. Also, English is spoken by many people in the world. In addition, many people are immigrating to various parts of the Western World plus there are many foreign college students who study in the West.

Accelerating the growth of global creationism

Creationism is exploding across the world due to the rise of global Christianity and immigration. In 2005, there were four times as many non-Western Christians as there were Western World Christians. Currently, there are more non-Western missionaries than Western missionaries.

Creationism is currently rapidly exploding across the world in multiple languages thanks to the dedicated work of Bible translators.

Yet, to my knowledge there has never been an anti-evolution booklet/book widely distributed across the globe in multiple languages. The time to fix this situation is now.

Creating anti-evolution fires around the world

The famous Chinese military strategist Sun Tzu said: What is essential in war is victory, not prolonged operations."

In order to crush Darwinism in the fast manner possible, innovation and radical measures are needed. The strategies of widely distributing  high quality anti-evolution e-books and video are certainly powerful methods among many that can be used to accelerate the growth of global creationism. Such strategies can create fires of opposition to Darwinism all around the world and burn up the wood, hay and stubble of evolutionary beliefs.

Given that there are many trends in the creationist communities favor and that more and more evidence is stacking up against Darwinism, Christian creationists need to strike while the iron is hot and pursue some radical measures to crush Darwinism in the quickest manner possible. Evolutionary pseudoscience is unnecessarily hindering Christian evangelism in various parts of the world. While it is true that creationism is growing in many places in the world such as the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, there is a lot of room for making the collapse of evolutionary belief occur sooner in the world.

Due to many factors, recent developments and trends happening worldwide, Darwinism is destined to lose its war with creationism.

For example, the Birkbeck College, University of London professor Eric Kaufmann using a multitude of demographic studies argues in an academic paper entitled Shall the Righteous Inherit the Earth? Demography and Politics in the Twenty-First Century the decline of atheism/agnosticism in terms of its global adherents is an established trend that will persist for the foreseeable future and the rate of decline will accelerate and affect the Western World. Professor Kaufmann declared to a secular Australian audience: "The trends that are happening worldwide inevitably in an age of globalization are going to affect us."

Since atheists and agnostics are the most dogmatic defenders of evolutionism, this is going to have an effect on Darwinism. See: Why are the years 2012 and 2020 key years for Christian creationists and pro-lifers?
