Is atheism and evolutionism loving North Korea about to become less weird?

Five questions:

1. Does militant evolutionism and militant atheism cause weirdness?

2. Is North Korea about to become less weird?

3. Will economic trade with outside world lead to increased Christian evangelism within North Korea?

4. How did atheism and evolutionism lead to the depravity that has occurred withing atheistic communist regimes?

5. How weak are the ideologies of atheism and evolutionism?

North Korea has loved atheism/evolutionism and the weirdness it brings

I recently saw a documentary on North Korea and the narrator for that documentary said that North Korea was the weirdest place on earth. I said to myself, the most friendly land towards atheism and evolutionism and the most unfriendly land towards biblical Christianity is also the weirdest. Go figure!

North Korea is a surreal country abounding in phoniness and propaganda. Sounds a lot like the ideologies of atheism and evolutionism, doesn't it? Given the bizarre behavior of many atheists/agnostics and evolutionists that I have seen, I cannot say that I am surprised. You definitely don't want to miss the videos below which show the over the top weirdness and wackiness of North Korea. In addition, be sure to read the rest of the article as it may help you better understand how atheism and evolutionism led to the depravity that occurred within atheistic communism.

Atheism and evolutionism loving North Korea may become less weird

The Vancouver Sun reported today:
North Korea seems finally to have heard the message China has been pushing at it for years. Beijing has repeatedly taken the last North Korean leader, Kim Jong-il, on visits to China's show-case industrial centres to try to persuade him that it is perfectly possible to keep the one-party state and still have thriving economic development. Kim seemed to be never fully convinced. But things seem to be changing with Kim's death and the assumption of the Marxist throne by his young son Kim Jong-un, steered by the guiding hand of his uncle Jang Song-thaek. Last week Jang was in Beijing to put some muscle behind the development of two special economic zones in North Korea.

With Christianity growing quickly in China and now growing within the top echelons of Chinese society, North Korea is going to receive more and more prompting to open up its doors to the rest of the world. In addition, China is seeing its economy slow so it can't baby the Marxist-Leninism loving atheists and evolutionists in North Korea with as much economic aid as it did in the past.

History teaches that increased contact with the outside world often leads to increased Christianization.

For example, in 2008 The Economist reported concerning China:
Christianity also follows Chinese migration. Many Christians studied in America, converted there and brought their new faith home. Several of the congregation of the Shanghai house church studied abroad, as did Mr Zhao. In 2000, says one Beijing writer and convert, most believers were in the countryside. After 2000 they brought their faith into the cities, spreading Christianity among intellectuals.

How strong are the religions of atheism and evolutionism?

Michael Ruse, the atheist and evolutionist science philosopher admitted, “Evolution is a religion. This was true of evolution in the beginning, and it is true of evolution still today.” Also, Creation Ministries International has an interesting article entitled Atheism: A religion

So how easily could Christianity spread into North Korea if it opened up its doors to the world? How weak are the religions of atheism and evolutionism?

The Christian Post article provides this key information:
Only about 30 percent of those who grow up in an atheist household remain atheists as adults. This "retention rate" was the lowest among the 20 separate categories in the study.

"What these findings reflect is that in the U.S. atheists are for the most part 'made' as adults after being raised in another faith. It appears to be much more challenging to raise one's child as an atheist and have them maintain this identity in their life," Dr. Mark Gray wrote at CARA's blog....

Baptists had the highest retention rate of the Protestant Christian categories at 60 percent, followed by Lutheran (59 percent) and Pentecostal (50 percent).
In addition, according to recent research by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, in the United States, a majority of those surveyed who were raised in atheist/agnostic households, or where there was no specific religious attachment, later chose to join a religious faith (see: Defectors to faith mark a growing trend and Faith in Flux Changes in Religious Affiliation in the U.S.).

Also, as noted above, Christianity is is experiencing explosive growth in China (see also: Christianity is exploding in China). Plus, Christianity is on the upswing in atheistic Japan - especially among the youth (see: Christianity on the upswing in Japan).

The atheist philosopher

So how strong is the evolution religion? I would encourage you to do our article Evolutionary gut feelings, "Belief in Evolution Boils Down to a Gut Feeling" plus examine the 15 questions for evolutionists.

Communism, atheism and evolutionism

The article The blood-stained ‘century of evolution’ points out how evolutionism supported the ideology of atheistic communism and it declares:
Communism also took evolution to its logical conclusion. If everything just evolved from ‘natural law,’ then man’s opinion, not God’s Word, determines what is right and wrong. If the working class can take power by armed struggle, then this is ‘right,’ regardless of how many must die to bring in the socialist paradise. Communism’s death toll far outranks the Nazis’—probably more than 90 million worldwide.

Some have suggested that the bloodthirsty deeds of Stalin were an ‘aberration’ from the revolution’s ideals. However, it was Lenin, the ‘father’ of the Russian revolution, who ‘perfected the science of mass killings,’ and total, merciless brutality as the ultimate method of political control. Evolution was the chief tool used to brainwash communism’s masses into ‘scientific atheism.’ If everything just evolved, then everything is at the whim of the most powerful, and there is no Maker to whom to be answerable. Hence Stalin’s belief that killing millions of people was no worse than mowing your lawn (grass is our cousin in evolutionary doctrine). [Author's note added May 2012: while Stalin undoubtedly believed this, the notion that he said something like this appears to be a miscitation--CW]

Mao’s reign of terror and lies resulted in the deaths of tens of millions. It is no coincidence that his two favorite books were by the evolutionists Darwin and Huxley. With millions dying from his forced famine, his physician records that Mao said, ‘We have so many people we can afford to lose a few.’ His successors have since persecuted and killed hundreds of thousands more.

Such overt ‘state’ evil makes it easy to forget what the Bible teaches about the evil within all of fallen mankind. Despite communism’s decline, the basic philosophy of evolutionism (i.e. man’s opinion, not God’s, is the ultimate authority) remains securely in control. They’re not shooting people scrambling over the Berlin Wall anymore, but millions of people are being torn apart in their mother’s womb in ‘democratic’ countries.

For additional information, I would highly recommend reading Creation Ministries International's article entitled Biblical Private Property Versus Socialistic Common Property by Rev. Professor F.N. Lee.

A larger wave of Christian backlash against atheism

Has the recent militant atheism, spawned by the New Atheism movement, made the advancement of atheism much more difficult? If so, why?

Is there a second and much larger wave of Christian backlash against New Atheism on the horizon?

Will the New Atheism movement ultimately cause atheism to lose ground?

Atheist commentary on the New Atheism and Christian backlash

In June of 2012, the UK based Dorsett Humanists wrote:
There’s been a forceful backlash against the ‘new atheism’ of writers like Richard Dawkins and the late Christopher Hitchens, inspiring a new wave of Christian apologists. This group includes: Alister McGrath, Professor of Theology at King’s College London, Keith Ward, former Professor of Divinity at Oxford, and John Lennox, Professor of Mathematics at the University of Oxford.

Many atheists make the mistake of assuming religion is wholly irrational, relying on faith alone but, in a series of interviews recorded for DVD, the apologetics heavyweights from the list above demonstrate their ability to challenge us with reasoned arguments.

An April 17. 2011 atheist essay entitled Are atheists strengthening religion? declared:
The Christian backlash and response to new atheism is/was considerable, and neither can the consequences, changes, and foci which marked their response be ignored.

In the end, have we simply made the aforementioned goal more difficult to accomplish?

The first wave of Christian backlash against the New Atheism

The Dorsett Humanists mention apologists who belong to the theistic evolutionists or intelligent design camp being energized by the New Atheism. Alister McGrath and Keith Ward are theistic evolutionists. John Lennox is a Christian apologists who is an advocate of intelligent design.

Also, in 2008 a grassroots Christian apologetics organization called Ratio Christi was formed whose mission is to establish a Christian apologetics chapter across the world's colleges and universities. They appear to be making progress and are approaching 100 chapters.

Have there been a major response to the New Atheism from members who belong to the young creationist camp? Yes, there has. And I see a much bigger wave of backlash coming and it is being fueled by the New Atheism and the force feeding of evolutionary belief in public schools.

The coming second wave of Christian backlash against the New Atheism

Christian apologetics is the discipline of defending Christianity. In 2006, the Christian YouTube channel grammastola created an inspiring video entitled The challenge of Christian apologetics: We need SEALs! in which he encouraged people to become fearless and mighty warriors who can effectively defend the Christian faith and also confront false ideologies. Prior to the video, he attended a Christian apologetics conference which 1,000 people attended.

Can atheism and evolutionism withstand a second and much larger wave of backlash against it? A wave of backlash from a stronger opposition who is adept at spreading their message. I don't think so.

Training makes a big difference and I see a growing willingness of Christians training themselves to be effective in terms of giving and distributing Christian messages.

Can training and determination make a difference in military conflicts and in conflicts of worldviews?

In the Sierra Leone conflict, 100 trained commandos from the private military company Executive Outcomes were able to effectively combat the revolutionaries from the United Revolutionary Front and they saved many people from being butchered. When 17,000 United Nation troops were called into replace these commandos, they failed. Training makes a difference! Later in this article, you will learn what trained Christian evangelists are doing via the internet.

A discouraged and weakened atheism

Yesterday, I spoke a Christian who is very involved in confronting atheism via the internet and he said that atheists have 1/10 of the zeal and confidence they had at the pinnacle of the New Atheism movement. For example, internet atheism has seen a major slump post 2007.

There are a lot of reasons for atheists, agnostics and evolutionists to be discouraged:

1. I cited the Dorsett Humanists indicating that Christians are able to effectively marshall reasoned arguments for the existence of God. I don't hear Christians saying the same thing about atheists. I don't hear Bible believers saying the same thing about evolutionists. And for good reason. For example, evolutionists have been unable to satisfactorily answer the 15 questions for evolutionists plus they have been trounced in debates on the 15 questions.

On the whole, atheists, agnostics and evolutionists have been unable to effectively defend their worldviews and confront Christian arguments. Richard Dawkins, the British Humanist Society, and the 2010 Global Atheist Conference have all ducked debates with prominent Bible believing Christians. Christian YouTuber Shockofgod has held over 50 debates with atheists/agnostics/evolutionists and none of them have performed well in the debates.

Mark Steyn in his book After America wrote:
Aside from the boom in Islamic terrorism, the Nineties and Oughts were also the worst decades ever for shark, bear, alligator, and cougar attacks in North America. The obvious explanation is that there are more of these creatures than ever before - the bear and cougar populations have exploded across the continent. But the more sinister one is that animals have not just multiplied but evolved: they've lost their fear of man. They now see him for what he is: a tasty Jello pudding on legs.
I am going to use an analogy to illustrate why I think there are going to be more and more attacks on secular ideologies.

Professor Eric Kaufmann has documentated that conservative Christians are having more kids than their secular counterparts plus Bible believing Christians are coming into Western countries. The Christian Post recently mentioned that the Amish population is doubling about every 20 years and by 2050 the Amish population is expected to number 1,000,000 people.

In addition, increasingly I am seeing Christians become more and more dismissive of atheism and agnosticism. The atheist and agnostic communities have pulled out all the stops lately to make themselves be bigger laughingstocks than usual.

This is no fear of these ideologies and I see a growing willingness of Christians to confront atheism, agnosticism and evolutionism. It is just a matter of time before these ideologies become "pudding on legs". I don't think it is any coincidence that we are seeing more and more anti-evolution laws in the United States and that a Gallup survey reported in June of 2012 an increase in American creationism.

2. Atheism is a drab and dreary worldview and atheists have higher rates of suicide that the general population. Although the late Christopher Hitchens could certainly be mean-spirited, he also was one of the few prominent atheists who had charisma and eloquence. Now agnostics, atheists and evolutionists are stuck in the mud with the abrasive and cranky old man Richard Dawkins and a host of other difficult and uncharismatic personalities. Currently, there is a lot of squabbling going on amongst these difficult personalities.

3. Biblical Christianity is growing in many areas of the West and it is exploding in the East. Meanwhile, global atheism and agnosticism are on the decline in both adherents and market share. See: Growth of biblical Christianity and decline of global atheism and agnosticism

4. Christians are getting more efficient at spreading their message through the internet and other venues.

A internet aided second wave of backlash against the New Atheism

I am seeing a growing interest of Christians in using the internet to promote Christianity. The internet for many Christians is going from something we should use to something we are using, shortly will use or must use. There is a growing excitement of the possibilities it offers. The Christian ministry Global Media Outreach recently reported giving 145 million gospel presentations in one year.

I would love to see a "SEAL team" of Christians who powerfully merge internet and offline efforts when it comes to evangelism, creation evangelism, discipleship, and Christian apologetics.

Are the rants of atheist crybabies increasing as atheism continues to fail to gain respect and global atheism shrinks? Get used to it atheists!

Gary Gerofsky writes:
I am not a religious person but I see a trend these days toward elevating atheism to the status of a religion and — the atheists are doing this with real religious fervour — attacking the faith community and showing intolerance for anyone who sways from their leftist, atheistic beliefs.

Global atheism is shrinking and the Question evolution! campaign will accelerate the shrinkage

In 2012, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (GCTS) reported that every day there are 800 less atheists per day, 1,100 less non-religious (agnostic) people per day and 83,000 more people professing to be Christians per day (see: Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary - status of Global Mission report).

In 2011, the American Spectator wrote concerning research published in the International Bulletin of Missionary Research:
The report estimates about 80,000 new Christians every day, 79,000 new Muslims every day, and 300 fewer atheists every day. These atheists are presumably disproportionately represented in the West, while religion is thriving in the Global South, where charismatic Christianity is exploding.

(As a theologically conservative Protestant, I do understand that not everyone who proclaims themselves a Christian is a bona fide Christian in God's eyes and there are people who are deluded and/or false teachers. See: Matthew 7:23, Matthew 7: 14-15)

In the United States atheists are a tiny minority of the population and one of the most distrusted groups which certainly must aggravate and upset militant atheists. According to the atheist author Dr. Sam Harris the label of atheist is "right next to child molester as a designation." Oh that must hurt, Mr. Rude and Arrogant Atheist. In 2010, the The Telegraph ran a story with the byline "Professor Richard Dawkins is embroiled in a bitter online battle over plans to rid his popular internet forum for atheists of foul language, insults and 'frivolous gossip'." Even former militant atheists turned agnostic such as Richard Dawkins find the behavior of many atheists distasteful. Of course, Dawkins himself is not Mr. Cordiality, is he?

Of course, as the Question evolution! campaign continues to gain new fans and spread across the globe in 2012 these desperate rants of militant atheists crybabies may reach a feverish pitch. No doubt the Question evolution campaign will accelerate the shrinking of global atheism which will cause more atheist rants. I know it's hard atheists, but please don't cry because Creation Ministries International has ripped your Darwinism blankie away from you with their 15 questions that evolutionists cannot satisfactorily answer.
