Darwinism and the appeal to authority logical fallacy. "I was only following orders"

I have found that many evolutionist often use the appeal to authority logical fallacy and the appeal to the scientific consensus. There was an infamous German evolutionary racist and fascist in history named Adolf Hitler who wanted to create a "German master race" and his evolutionist followers committed many atrocities. See: Nazism and Darwinism and Darwinism and the Nazi race Holocaust

After Hitler's regime fell, his evolutionist followers often tried to excuse their heinous behavior by saying, "I was only following orders". Evolutionists, next time you feel tempted to use the appeal to authority logical fallacy, keep this in mind.
