That's a lot of biblical creationism coming to Texas each and every month partner! Specifically, Quantcast declares that 10,389 web visitors from Texas visit Creation.com per month.
Expect the number to rise in 2013 and 2014. Hispanic evangelicalism is growing fast in Texas and the United States as a whole.

Finally, Hispanics are becoming more Protestant. Furman University political scientist James Guth and his co-authors
discovered that in the Latino population there is one Protestant for
every two Catholics. Hispanic Protestants split their vote evenly
between the Democrats and the GOP in 2004, with conservative Hispanic
evangelicals backing George W. Bush to the tune of almost 80%. This,
rather than Latino Catholic support, is what accounted for much of
Bush’s 40% support among Hispanic voters. The ranks of Protestant
Hispanics are growing: work colleagues and I have done with the General
Social Survey (GSS) shows that as many as 10% of Hispanics raised as
Catholics had switched to Protestantism by 2006.
According to a 2006 survey, around 20 percent of Hispanic Americans are
Protestant, and 70 percent of those consider themselves born-again or
evangelical. A 2000 survey showed that around one in three
third-generation Hispanic Americans is Protestant. There aren’t data
showing the number of Hispanic evangelicals in Texas. But assuming that
national trends hold true, there are almost 2 million in Texas, and at
least 750,000 of them are registered voters. Hispanic evangelicals
already have the numbers to swing a statewide election.

In Texas, our Question evolution! campaign group signed up two of the most prominent Texas biblical creationist groups in Texas and a third biblical Texas creationist group as well. In 2013, we are going to unleash some exciting grassroots projects in Texas that we believe are going to be very significant.

Creating a creationist majority in the United States initiative
Can American creationists capitalize on their recent gains and momentum and creationist majority in the United States? On June 1, 2012, the respected American polling organization Gallup Inc., released a survey on the percentage of young earth creationists in the United States has increased in recent months (approximately over 12 months).
There are over 170 creationist groups for us to contact in the countries Creation Ministries International (CMI) has offices in (United States, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Singapore). Most of these are located in North America. This month we are going to contact a LOT more of these organizations.
Everything is big in Texas
Today, we spoke to a Texas creationist with an email list of 400+ Christian creationist. He is going to mail out a volunteer request for a project we just launched. Evolutionists, I would love to tell you about it, but that would spoil the surprise wouldn't it?
Also, we are contacting more creationist groups in Texas this month.
In addition, we have a list of 500 Texas churches and their contact information. At a future phase of the Question Evolution! Campaign involving churches, we would like to send out a special email to these churches.
Furthermore, at a key juncture in the Question Evolution! Campaign, we plan on contact a POWERFUL creationist in Texas.

Today we spoke to a key Texas opponent of Darwinism who has examined the Question Evolution! Campaign. The call went extremely well! In June of 2012, we will begin working on spreading the campaign in 3 key areas of Texas initially and then spreading the campaign throughout the state. Yippie-yi-yo-ki-yay! Move over little Texas evolutionist doggies, big ole' Question evolution! dog movin' in!
We have a list of 500 Texas churches and their contact information which we will be using in this second phase of Texas outreach.
The Bible belt state of Texas definitely has an impact on the creation vs. evolution culture war in America due to the sheer size of the amount of textbooks it purchases relative to other states in the United States and its state policies on textbooks.
In 2010, the Utne Reader wrote concerning Texas's influence on national textbooks:
The politicized textbooks would be a problem just inside Texas, but economic factors have given the state a huge influence over textbooks throughout the country. Unlike many other states, Texas makes the decisions on a state level on what books local school districts can buy. So when the state makes a decision on what books to purchase for its 4.7 million high schoolers, publishers take notice. The only bigger market for textbooks in the country is California, a state whose budget is in such disarray, it announced that it won’t be buying new books until 2014. In the meantime, an anonymous industry executive told Washington Monthly, “publishers will do whatever it takes to get on the Texas list,” even if that means caving in to right-wing activists.
Although the present United States economy is hard to predict and Texas is affected by the the U.S. economy, Texas is expected to purchase $1 billion in textbooks in 2012-13.
Also, an excerpt from a 2011 MSNBC news article entitled Creationism controversy again slips into Texas textbook debate declares: "In any event, school districts don't have to follow the board's recommendation, under a new law that gives them the sole authority to spend their state education funds."
