House Resolution 41 proposes that February 12, 2013, be declared as Darwin Day. This goes against the views of nearly half the US population who express some form of opposition to the General Theory of Evolution. A petition has been started, which needs 100,000 signatures for it to go to the next level. Please encourage your fellow American creationists and other Darwinism skeptics to exercise their First Amendment right to petition their government and make their voice heard on this issue. The petition will not be searchable on the whitehouse.gov site until it gets 150 signatures, so here are the links to it, below.
