Evolutionists, atheists and agnostics: Where is your master plan to reverse your decline?

Evolutionists, atheists and agnostics: Where is your master plan to reverse your global decline?

We certainly documented your decline and how it will affect Western countries. You have given no credible disputation of this matter. We also documented the growth of creationism within Western countries. So, what are you going to do about it?

So many times I have heard about the supposed intellectual superiority of your communities, yet when the water gets rough, you don't seem to have back up plans.

Furthermore, you seem incapable of coming up with an effective plan to reverse things. Given that you always prattle on about supposed advanced cultures on other planets, I would have thought if you were serious that you not only would have a global plan for the evolutionist community, but a plan for the entire universe as well! You seem to have neither! Needless to say, I am not surprised that you cannot satisfactorily answer the 15 questions for evolutionists.

You are all in denial or have come to the realization that it is impossible to oppose God and win. I am not impressed with your intellectual prowess - quite the opposite really. God has immensely more power and wisdom than all the members of your communities combined and we both know it.

5 important issues relating to atheism, agnosticism and evolutionism

In recent posts, we covered these 5 important areas:

1. The most ardent defenders of evolutionism have historically been atheists and their ideological cousins agnostics. The most effective way to combat atheism/agnosticism is to attack evolutionism as it cuts off their ideological supply lines.

2. Decline of global atheism and agnosticism in terms of adherents and its expected significant impact on Western atheism and evolutionism. As Professor Eric Kaufmann declared to a secular audience: "The trends that are happening worldwide inevitably in an age of globalization are going to affect us."

3. Lack of leadership capabilities within world atheism/agnosticism

4. Global Christianity and creationism is growing and increasing challenging Darwinism and Darwinist theology in places such as North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa.

5. Christians and Christian creationist are increasingly using the internet in terms of evangelism and have ambitious plans for the future. They are obtaining excellent results. There are Christians in the Western World who have a global plan to spread Christianity. Atheism has expended significant effort in the past via the internet with little to show for it. In addition, the atheist internet community has been in a 4 year slump in terms of web traffic. Furthermore, there is a lack of strong leadership within the atheist community.

If you haven't read these post, they can be found at:

Atheists and evolutionists: What is your global master plan to reverse things?

Atheists and agnostics tend to tilt towards the left politically (Historically, they have embraced communism, socialism and liberalism). In addition, leftists tend to be globalist and less nationalistic. In addition, they tend to work with each other across the globe.

So evolutionists, atheists and agnostics, where is your plan to reverse things? Where are the plans of notable atheists, agnostics and evolutionists or notable organizations representing these communities?

The Birkbeck College, University of London professor Eric Kaufmann using a multitude of demographic studies argues in an academic paper entitled Shall the Righteous Inherit the Earth? Demography and Politics in the Twenty-First Century the decline of atheism in terms of its global adherents is an established trend that will persist for the foreseeable future and the rate of decline will accelerate and affect the Western World. See: Why are the years 2012 and 2020 key years for Christian creationists and pro-lifers?

By in large, these outspoken evolutionists are awfully silent about the aforementioned decline: Richard Dawkins, PZ Myers, Sam Harris, Daniel Dennette, Penn Jillette, Eugenie Scott, Dan Barker, atheists and agnostics in academia, evolutionists in academia, British Humanist Society, National Academies of Sciences, National Center for Science Education, evolution promoting natural science journals, evolution promoting social science journals, evolution leaning journalists, American Atheists, YouTube atheists Thunderf00t and TheAmazingAtheist, Matt Dillahunty, the Skepchick community, prominent French evolutionists and atheists/agnostics, prominent secularist Europeans in other countries, Chinese communists and others. Why are all these outspoken people suddenly so silent?

And the cursory treatment of this issue by atheists PZ Myers and Nigel Barber were absolutely a joke. Barber confidently proclaimed that atheism would prevail against religion by 2038 without providing detailed analysis. It's almost as if he picked the year 2038 out of a hat! I mean why not 2040? See: Atheism is rudderless and unseaworthy

Even the immensely weird and bellicose North Korean atheists and communists are silent about this matter. Recently, I saw a documentary on North Korea and the narrator for that documentary said that North Korea was the weirdest place on earth. I said to myself, the most friendly land towards atheism and evolutionism and the most unfriendly land towards biblical Christianity is also the weirdest. Go figure!

North Korea is a surreal country abounding in phoniness and propaganda. Sounds a lot like the ideologies of atheism and evolutionism, doesn't it? Given the bizarre behavior of many atheists/agnostics and evolutionists that I have seen, I cannot say that I am surprised.

The silence the militant evolutionists is absolutely deafening. Cat got your tongue evolutionists? Of course, even if you were to come up with a plan in spite of all the evidence that it would not work, we all know it would fail miserably, don't we?

Evolutionists, why are you going to be so late in talking about these growing problems as a whole? Is it due to: pride, thoughtlessness, denialism, complacency, ignorance and a growing realization that you cannot win?

"Deal with a thing while it is still nothing.” - Lao Tzu

"He who excels at resolving difficulties does so before they arise.” - Sun Tzu

Of course, deep down dogmatic evolutionists know that evolutionism is pseudoscience so a a sacrificial and heroic effort is not in the cards, is it? Sullenly taking your lumps is about the best you can do at this point.

Richard Dawkins: Insightful secular strategist or an insincere book peddler?

Is Richard Dawkins an insightful secular strategist or merely an insincere book peddler?

Global atheism and global agnosticism  are both shrinking in terms of their number of adherents and their worldwide market share.

We provide a host of evidence for these matters from academia, survey data, leading web traffic tracking companies and other sources of information (see our post: Down with evolutionary belief! Down with atheism! Hurray for the Question Evolution! Campaign!).

If Dawkins is a poor strategist, this would further complicate things for those who oppose Christianity and creationism.

Recently, we posted some strong evidence pointing to Dawkins being an inconsistent and disingenuous book marketer.

We encourage you to read our posts:

Is Richard Dawkins a flip-flopper?

Why does Richard Dawkins have such a high belief in the possibility of fairies being at the bottom of the garden?

Richard Dawkins and the Rabbi Boteach debate

Richard Dawkins: a bumbler, strategist or a book peddler?

Setting aside Dawkins' endorsement of the Brights Movement which was a total disaster and his previously cited inconsistent and muddled thinking, is there evidence that he is a disaster when it comes to strategic thinking?  We know that the evolutionist Adolf Hitler was no strategist and tactician and he constantly irritated his generals. Does Dawkins possess the same cognitive deficit?  Many times intense anger can cloud a person's judgement and the abrasive Dawkins certainly hates Christianity.

Let us compare the master strategist and general Sun Tzu, whose work The Art of War is still studied by generals and strategic thinkers today, with the behavior of Richard Dawkins.

Richard Dawkins vs. Sun Tzu

The famous Chinese general Sun Tzu wrote that when you are smaller in number, attack the weakest points of the enemy.

"To be certain to take what you attack, attack where the enemy cannot defend." - Sun Tzu

"To achieve an advance that cannot be hampered, rush to his weak points." - Sun Tzu

So what is the current "strategic" plan of Richard Dawkins? He prominently features a "Ten point vision of a secular America" on his main website. The United States is a country that is the capital of creationism and where atheists are held in low esteem by a very large segment of the population.

American atheist Sam Harris said about the label of atheist: "It's right next to child molester as a designation." A study conducted by the University of British Columbia involving Americans and Canadians indicated that atheists are among the least trusted groups in North America.

The evidence is mounting that Richard Dawkins is not an astute strategist for agnosticism, atheism and evolutionism. But let's dig deeper.

Did Richard Daawkins' God Delusion significantly advance atheism or agnosticism?

New Atheism is a new form of militant atheism which started in the period between 2004 and 2007. The New Atheism movement has not had much of an impact in terms of gaining new adherents to atheism. In a March 10, 2008 USA Today article Stephen Prothero wrote:

Numbers lie, but they also tell tales untrustworthy and otherwise. So the key question stirring around the much discussed U.S Religious Landscape Survey released in late February by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life is what tale does it state about the state of the union.

For some, the story of this survey, based on interviews in multiple languages with more than 35,000 adults, is the strength of American Religion.

Not too long ago, I wrote that American atheism was going the way of the freak show. As books by Christopher Hitchens and other "new atheists" climbed the best seller lists, I caught a lot of flak for that prophecy. But atheist make up only 1.6% of respondents to this survey....

Vox Day argues that the main thing the book the God Delusion accomplished was further damaging Dawkins reputation as the book was sloppily researched and badly argued.

Why is America a focus of Dawkins' efforts?

Of course, given his past flops, one can certainly believe that Dawkins' focus is the result of ineptness. I strongly suspect, given the evidence above, that he is focusing on America due to hopes of greater book sales as the New York Times and other liberal media outlets will help Dawkins hawk more books. Expanding atheism in Eastern Europe, which was impoverished by atheistic communism, is not going to yield significant book sales for Dawkins.

Furthermore, the refusal to Richard Dawkins to debate the Christian William Lane Craig provides ample additional evidence of the insincerity of Dawkins. Oxford atheist Daniel Came wrote to Dawkins: "The absence of a debate with the foremost apologist for Christian theism is a glaring omission on your CV and is of course apt to be interpreted as cowardice on your part."

Internet evangelism video

On July 28, 2012, I created a post on combining internet evangelism with evangelism for biblical creationism based partly on the conversations I had with creation evangelists. See: 20 million extra people hearing a biblical creationism message

I have been asked to share this video:

20 million extra people a year hearing biblical creationism

The Apostle Paul wrote: "Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win." (I Corinthians 9:24).

Christians are commanded to have a sense of urgency when it comes to evangelism.

So is there a proven way that a creationist ministry could increase their outreach by over 20,000,000 people a year?

If so, how could it be done?

How big of an extra outreach would that be for creationism?

Is this a realistic estimate? Is it a conservative estimate?

Our Question Evolution! Campaign group has communicated with several people in the internet evangelism field. There are people in this field who are very resourceful, determined, talented and creative. They have generously given us some great ideas and tips.

It is no wonder that an internet evangelism organization reported that that they reached 145,000,000 million people with a Christian message in a one year time period. Also, nearly 20 million of those people indicated they prayed to become Christians. And that is merely one internet evangelism organization. Namely, Global Media Outreach. And the wonderful thing is that there are numerous ministries focusing on internet evangelism.

How big of an increase would 20 million extra people a year reached be for creation evangelism?

According to the web traffic tracking company Quantcast, the three leading biblical creationist ministries received about 448,000 unique visitors a month to their websites They also have speakers which speak at churches and other events plus other venues as well such as radio, etc. Plus, some of them have creationist museums as well.

There are also over 180 additional smaller creationist ministries in North America alone. We have started to contact some of them and we are very encouraged so far.

Let's just take a look at the web traffic for the 3 leading creationist websites and do some rounding to make the math easier. Let's round up the 448,000 unique visitors a month for the websites of the leading 3 creationist ministries to 500,000 unique visitors a month so that is 6 million unique visitors a year.

Above, we indicated that one internet evangelism organization reached 145,000,000 people in one year. So a creation website reaching 20 million extra people through internet evangelism would be about 13.7% of their results which should be doable. In short, it is an ambitious yet achievable goal.

Now if the leading 3 creationist websites are currently received about 6 million visitors a month and Creation.com received 20 million extra visitors a year that would be at least a 400% plus increase in the amount of web traffic to the leading 3 creationist websites if it is combined with other efforts such as forming alliances and integrating online and offline efforts. For example, many times offline events wind up creating significant online traffic jumps due to word of mouth and publicity.

Is Richard Dawkins a flip-flopper?

The egotistical Richard Dawkins is presently in the midst of writing a self-serving quasi autobiography while global atheism and global agnosticism continue to decline and face major threats on the horizon (See: Decline of global atheism).

Of course, given the barbarism that atheism has helped spawn in history and the lack of charitableness of the atheist community as a whole relative to Christians and theists, the world is not shedding many tears about the decline of atheism around the world.

In June of 2012, the Christian Post reported
Famed atheist and scientist Richard Dawkins has set out to write a new book that will focus on his own evolution toward the path of atheism.

"Dawkins will tell the story of his own intellectual evolution, explaining how his groundbreaking work as a scientist led to his work as an atheist," states Dawkins' new publisher HarperCollins' Ecco. The book has not yet been given a title, but is expected to be on bookshelves by 2014.
The publisher's notice of the upcoming book using the term "atheist" can be found on several other prominent internet properties besides the Christian Post such as Publishers Weekly, The Blaze, Christianity Today and Galleycat (Galleycat is on the Media Bistro domain).

First, Richard Dawkins has gone from being a militant atheist to being an agnostic.

Vox Day wrote about Dawkins' inconsistency when it comes to the issues of atheism and agnosticism.

Vox Day declared:  "While the fact that Dawkins declared himself a literal agnostic in the very book in which he declared the importance of atheist evangelism is both ironic and incoherent, it will surprise no one who has read the chapter of The Irrational Atheist entitled "Darwin's Judas".

Christians should call Dawkins on his disingenuous flip-flopping if his publisher continues to promote the book as a book focusing on his journey to atheism without mentioning the fact that Dawkins is presently an agnostic who has rejected atheism.

An author calling himself an atheist or a publisher giving the impression that someone is an atheist may sell more books as it is more provocative, but it isn't intellectually honest if the author has rejected atheism and is an agnostic. If Dawkins claims to be an agnostic who is unsure if God exist or not, then he should clearly communicate this to the public and so should his publisher. Dawkins has been unreasonable as far as his alleged agnosticism and I recommend reading the article Why does Richard Dawkins have such a high belief in the possibility of fairies being at the bottom of the garden?

Specifically, what is odd an inconsistent about Dawkins's alleged agnosticism is that he estimates there is about a 1% chance that God exist. However, at the same time he compares the existence of God to fairies being at the bottom of the garden. Of course, this means that Dawkins believes there is about a 1% chance of fairies being at the bottom of the garden using Dawkins' "logic".

Title of book The God Delusion displayed odd and inconsistent behavior

Another reason why Dawkins displays odd behavior in reference to the atheism and agnosticism issue is that he titled a recent book of his The God Delusion. Obviously, this is an odd title for an agnostic author to name a book - especially one who asserts there is about a 1% chance that God exist in his estimation. This odd behavior leads me to the conclusion that the reason the book was titled The God Delusion was for crass marketing reasons as it is more provocative title which would grab more press headlines and sell more books.

Think about it. If there was a 1% chance that something existed, would you call your neighbor delusional if he believed it existed? No, you would not. Sure, you would think the odds are against your neighbor in terms of his belief, but you would not think he is delusional. The term delusional is generally used in connection with ideas that are insane to believe due to there being overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Given the weakness of his argumentation and the vitriol which often accompanies it, I agree with Dr. Don Batten of Creation Ministries International that the weight of the evidence points to Dawkins being a God-hater.

Ineffectiveness of Richard Dawkins and lack of significant accomplishment

What groundbreaking work as a scientists has Richard Dawkins done? He hasn't won any Nobel Prizes and even a fellow evolutionists, Professor Richard Lewontin, pointed out that Dawkins engages in pseudoscience.

In a March 10, 2008 USA Today article Stephen Prothero wrote that the New Atheism promoted by the Richard Dawkins and his fellow New Atheists had no discernible effect on the percentage of atheists in America.

Bottom line: An inconsistent flip-flopper whose works do not grow atheism in a significant way is not going to reverse the decline of global atheism. It is very improbably that anything will reverse the decline of atheism. In fact, the decline of atheism is expected to accelerate in coming years (see: Declline of atheism is expected to accelerate).

The decline of atheism is by no means a tragedy. Our Question Evolution! Campaign group has developed an initial 12 point plan for helping Christendom to further accelerate the decline of global atheism (see: A twelve point plan for accelerating the decline of global atheism).

Furthermore, there is the issue of Richard Dawkins' abrasive personality. This has caused divisions within atheism and also turns off many people in the general public. Anything Dawkins attempts to advance agnosticism or atheism is not going to be a game changer. Also, given that a large segment of the world population loathes atheism, Richard Dawkins tying evolutionism to atheism is going to be counterproductive to advancing evolutionism. This is fine by me as the evolutionary paradigm is pseudoscience.

Refuting evolution

Monday, July 23, 2012

Immigrant evangelical churches are a fast growing movement in France. Now is the time for creationism to spread in France!

Yesterday, a member of our Question Evolution! Campaign group had a very cordial and productive conversation with someone who has been very active in the French speaking creationist community. The person gave us key contacts in France and Canada when it comes to Christian creationists. We are really looking forward to talk to these people given the recent refinement of our plan to widely disseminate the 15 questions for evolutionists.

France and creationism? Why now?

On July 2, 2012, the French religious website French Windows reported:
Evangelical churches are a fast-growing movement in France. Mostly related to the Francophone world (According to the La nouvelle France protestante 2011 book, there is around 40 millions of French-speaking Protestants in the World), they are often poor, and have a hard time finding proper worship places.

To read an article on this matter see the Global Post article Evangelicals accuse French officials of discrimination

Where are the evangelical immigrants coming from?

Global Christianity is exploding in Africa and in the Eastern World. Also, secular populations have sub replacement level of births and often resort to immigration and so it is not surprising that evangelicals from other other countries are starting to become a fast growing movement in France (France had colonies in Africa). Plus, religious people often have significantly larger families which can have a substantial impact over time. See: Religious families vs. secular families and birth rates

Professor Eric Kaufmann using a multitude of demographic studies argues in an academic paper entitled Shall the Righteous Inherit the Earth? Demography and Politics in the Twenty-First Century that the decline of atheism in terms of its global adherents is an established trend that will persist for the foreseeable future and the rate of decline of global will accelerate. In the Western World, due to immigration and the higher birth rates of religious people, Kaufman writes: "Committed religious populations are growing in the West, and will reverse the march of secularism before 2050."

History and a recent study of Georgetown University teach us that atheism and evolutionism are not strong ideologies if they are confronted.

For more information please see:

Georgetown University study provides two clues to shrinking atheism faster

Overrunning Darwinism through internet evangelism, radical pricing (free) and wide distribution

In due time, amiable and industrious French speaking Christian evangelical immigrants will become more and more influential in France. Do you remember what happened to Christianity in the Roman Empire? Of course, this may bode well for Christian creationism in France. This is already started to happen in the UK with evangelical immigrants who are beginning to challenge the theologically liberal church in the UK. See: Biblical Christianity is rising in the UK.

Creationism and French Catholicism - 2007 events

Reuters reported in 2007:
"Bible-based criticism of evolution, once limited to Protestant fundamentalists in the United States, has become an issue in France now that Pope Benedict and some leading Catholic theologians have criticized the neo-Darwinist view of creation...

These American concerns caught notice in Europe after Vienna Cardinal Christoph Schoenborn, a confidant of Pope Benedict, attacked neo-Darwinist theories in 2005 in what seemed to be a move to ally the Catholic Church with "intelligent design."...

Herve Le Guyader, a University of Paris biology professor who advised the Education Ministry on the Atlas, said high school biology teachers needed more training now to respond to the increasingly open challenges to the theory of evolution.

Trouble in France and a door opening

France is a major player when it comes to Europe and is one of the largest economies in Europe.

However, at the present time, France is at a crossroads in terms of its economy and they are experiencing significant amounts of economic pressure. Nearly 10% of their population is unemployed and in December of 2011 the credit rating agency Moody's downgraded the bonds of French banks.

Also, the wealthy are starting to flee France Since capitalism depends on capital and the Eurozone is experiencing major problems things could get much rougher in France.

If you are a Bible reader and student of history, you know that men who face difficulty are often more open to God. It appears as if secularism and socialism is beginning to unravel in France and a door may soon be opening for creationism in France.

France: A potential strategy for disseminating biblical creationism

Will the Question Evolution! Campaign and the 15 questions for evolutionists spread through France? If so, how might it occur?

Atheism is rudderless and unseaworthy

Is atheism rudderless? Is atheism unseaworthy and incapable of handling the huge waves heading its way?

To answer these questions, let's first examine some prominent atheists in terms of their leadership abilities.

Is PZ Myers a strong leader within atheism?

One of the hallmarks of leaders is that they search for and recognize opportunities and help their communities capitalize on them.  In addition, they scan the environment for problems which threaten their communities and help their communities solve them. Let's take a look at PZ Myers's problem recognition and problem solving abilities and see how they stack up.

Important questions to ask as far as PZ Myers' leadership abilities

1. Does PZ Myers recognize significant problems which pose a threat to atheism or does he hide his head in the sand and pretend they don't exist?

2. Is PZ Myers a thoughtful person who monitors how atheism is doing in the world or is he oblivious?

3. Is PZ Myers offering constructive ways to solve one of atheism's biggest problems or is he making the problem worse?

Significant problem facing atheism: global shrinking of atheism in terms of adherents and market share

Currently, atheism is shrinking in terms of global market share and in terms of adherents. Furthermore, the decline of the number of atheists in the world is expected to accelerate and negatively affect Western atheism.

In 2012, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (GCTS) reported that every day there are 800 less atheists per day, 1,100 less non-religious (agnostic) people per day and 83,000 more people professing to be Christians per day (see: Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary - status of Global Mission report).

Furthermore, in 2009, the book A sceptics guide to atheism indicated: "A worldwide poll taken in 1991 put the global figure for atheists at just 4.4% of the population. By 2006 it was estimated that only 2% of the world population were atheists."

The Birbeck, University of London professor Eric Kaufmann declared to a secular Australian audience in a lecture titled Shall the religious inherit the earth: "The trends that are happening worldwide inevitably in an age of globalization are going to affect us."

Eric Kaufmann using a multitude of demographic studies argues in an academic paper entitled Shall the Righteous Inherit the Earth? Demography and Politics in the Twenty-First Century that the decline of atheism in terms of its global adherents is an established trend that will persist for the foreseeable future and the rate of decline will accelerate. In the Western World, due to immigration and the higher birth rates of religious people, Kaufman writes: "Committed religious populations are growing in the West, and will reverse the march of secularism before 2050."

Eric Kaufmann wrote in his 2010 book Shall the Righteous Inherit the Earth? concerning America:
High evangelical fertility rates more than compensated for losses to liberal Protestant sects during the twentieth century. In recent decades, white secularism has surged, but Latino and Asian religious immigration has taken up the slack, keeping secularism at bay. Across denominations, the fertility advantage of religious fundamentalists of all colours is significant and growing. After 2020, their demographic weight will begin to tip the balance in the culture wars towards the conservative side, ramping up pressure on hot-button issues such as abortion. By the end of the century, three quarters of America may be pro-life. Their activism will leap over the borders of the 'Redeemer Nation' to evangelize the world. Already, the rise of the World Congress of Families has launched a global religious right, its arms stretching across the bloody lines of the War on Terror to embrace the entire Abrahamic family.

In addition, the the web traffic of leading atheist websites have declined in recent years

PZ Myers "solution" to global atheism shrinking and its threat to Western atheism

So what is PZ Myers's "solution" to global atheism shrinking and it's significant threat to the future of atheism?

PZ Myers engages in the logical fallacy of the fallacy of exclusion by cherry picking a handful of countries in which atheism and/or agnosticism has grown and then declaring: "overall trend is good: atheism is winning out around the world." Apparently, when PZ Myers puts his "atheism blinders" on, his myopia goes into overdrive and the world outside his cherry picked countries don't exist.

Furthermore, Myers chooses to ignore an inconvenient fact from his own source.

PZ Myers writes: "It appears that Ameroatheists have expanded by 10 million since the turn of the century — representing about a million a year, and about a third of overall population growth, to a total of 60 million out of more than 300 million."

First of all, the major encyclopedias of philosophy define atheism as the denial of the existence of God. Myers mixes atheists and agnostics together due to his philosophical ignorance and/or to try to boost the numbers of atheists. See also: Stanford Encyclopedia of Philisophy - Atheism and agnosticism and Atheism - Etymology

Second, Myers fails to point out that from the most recent period apparently examined by International Social Survey Programme (ISSP) was from 1998 to 2008. During that 10 year period, the ISSP indicated the percentage of atheists/agnostics decreased in America and the number of theists increased during that period. Specifically, in 1998 the percentage of Americans who didn't believe in God was 3.2% and in 2008 it was 2.8% which is a decease in the percentage of atheists/agnostics. Also, the ISSP indicated that 77.5% of Americans were theists overall in 1998 and in 2008 it was 78.2 percent which is an increase in the percentage of theists.

Third, there is some value to the data the International Social Survey Programme provides as it attempts to foster co-operation between countries in terms of survey data and how survey questions are structured. At the same time, as far as America, it is foolish to ignore the high quality data that the Gallup organization, the Pew Forum and the American Religious Identification Survey (ARIS) provide.

In 2011, the Gallup organization wrote "More than 9 in 10 Americans still say "yes" when asked the basic question "Do you believe in God?". In 2008, the American Religious Indentification Survey (ARIS) reported .7% of Americans self-identified themselves as atheists and .9% of Americans self-identified as agnostics (which is a small increase in the percentage). In 2007, Pew Forum estimated that 1.6% of Americans are atheists and 2.4% of Americans are agnostics.

Fourth, Myers' article was published on June 19, 2012. His article declares: "Demographic extrapolations that suggest fast-reproducing fundamentalists are on a statistical course to outgrow low-fertility secularists are proving flawed because they fail to account for mass nonchalant conversion due to modernity." Nowhere does Myers mention that on June 1, 2012 the  Gallup organization reported  the largest increase in young increase in young earth creationism in the entire time they have been tracking it. That must have slipped his absentminded professors mind! Specifically, around June of 2011 40% of Americans were estimated to be young earth creationist according to Gallup. By May of 2012, it was estimated to be 46% by Gallup.

Myers' analysis of the current situation facing the atheist community in terms of its global decline and the future implications of this decline exhibits poor scholarship, denialism and  poor leadership.

PZ Myers' threat detection skills: Excellent, mediocre or very poor? A further examination

Is PZ Myers an insightful person who can discern competitive threats in the environment for the ideology of atheism or is his threat detection skills poor or non-existent?

Michael Blume, a researcher at the University of Jena in Germany, wrote "Most societies or communities that have espoused atheistic beliefs have not survived more than a century." Blume also indicated concerning concerning his research on this matter: "What I found was the complete lack of a single case of a secular population, community or movement that would just manage to retain replacement level."

So how does PZ Myers address this issue? He rabidly promotes  pro-abortion ideology thus compounding the problem of religious people having significantly more children than atheists (and the related issue of atheist couples failing to achieve replacement levels).

Furthermore, Myers made the claim that atheism thrives on economic prosperity and religion prospers when people are desperate and ignorant. I address this claim of Myers in the article Does atheism thrive on economic prosperity? Does religion prosper when people are desperate and ignorant.

What is humorous about this claim is that the leftist Myers engages in misguided partisan politics by claiming that Republicans may drive Americans into poverty though anti-socialism policies which could cause Americans to reject atheism.

Why is this comment ironic? It is ironic for two principle reasons. First, in the article in which he predicts a rosy picture for the future of global atheism, nowhere does he talk about the financial crises in secular Europe caused by massive sovereign debt in several countries. Second, he fails to discuss the 15 trillion dollar federal debt of the United States and a host of other significant economic problems the United States faces such as running trade deficits. As an aside, please see: Bible versus on debt/finances

Nigel Barber, another atheist thought "leader" predicted that atheism would defeat religion by 2038 due to economic prosperity (Again, I address this weak claim in my article Does atheism thrive on economic prosperity? Does religion prosper when people are desperate and ignorant )

PZ Myers and Mr. Barber must read the same oddball newspapers because they are not reading about the massive debt problems and the lack of economic competitiveness happening within many secular European countries.

Will Richard Dawkins' upcoming book reverse decline of global atheism?

The egotistical Richard Dawkins is presently in the midst of writing a self-serving quasi autobiography while global atheism and global agnosticism continue to decline and face major threats on the horizon.

Given the weakness of his argumentation and the vitriol which often accompanies it, I agree with Dr. Don Batten that the weight of the evidence points to Dawkins being a God-hater.

Second, what groundbreaking work as a scientists has Richard Dawkins done? He hasn't won any Nobel Prizes and even a fellow evolutionists, Professor Richard Lewontin, pointed out that Dawkins engages in pseudoscience.

In a March 10, 2008 USA Today article Stephen Prothero wrote that the New Atheism promoted by the Richard Dawkins and his fellow New Atheists had no discernible effect on the percentage of atheists in America.

Bottom line: An inconsistent flip-flopper whose works do not grow atheism in a significant way is not going to reverse the decline of global atheism.

Furthermore, there is the issue Richard Dawkins' abrasive personality. This has caused divisions within atheism and also turns off many people in the general public. Anything Dawkins attempts to advance agnosticism or atheism is not going to be a game changer. Also, given that a large segment of the world population loathes atheism, Richard Dawkins tying evolutionism to atheism is going to be counterproductive.

For more information on Richard Dawkins' inconsistent behavior please see the article: Is Richard Dawkins a flip-flopper?

Silent and unthinking prominent atheists "leading" atheism to a shipwreck?

“A blind man cannot guide a blind man, can he? Will they not both fall into a pit?" - Jesus

Questions:

1. Why are atheist thought "leaders" so thoughtless when it comes to the future of atheism? Are they: looking at distant historical trends, myopically looking at certain countries/cultures. Are they ignoring some recent significant trends and events? Are many prominent atheists/agnostics such as Richard Dawkins, PZ Myers, Sam Harris and others incompetent when it comes to the disciplines of history and demographics? See also: Evolutionists, atheists and agnostics: Where is your master plan to reverse your decline?

2. Given that many militant atheists and Darwinists have a great deal of antipathy towards God and Christianity, are they allowing their emotions to overrule the current evidence relating to the future of atheism ?

3. Is the reason why prominent atheists are ignoring the global decline of atheism and its expected effect on the West is because they are too indifferent and lazy to do anything about it?

Do you see Richard Dawkins, PZ Myers, Sam Harris, Dan Barker, Penn Jillette, Ed Brayton and other prominent atheists and agnostics going into Africa, India and other poor areas of the world relative to the West and making large personal sacrifices to spread atheism? Do you see many atheists doing this to spread atheism? I certainly don't. See: Tightfisted atheist

4. Why are so few prominent atheists, if any, directly citing Professor Eric Kaufmann's work relating to the decline of atheism even though a substantial amount of his work is online and lengthy videos are available? Why is linking to his material so difficult? Could it be a case of denialism or intellectual dishonesty?

See: Professor Eric Kaufmann's papers, articles and videos

5. How many atheist/agnostic book authors and public speakers are going to hurt their book sales and speaker fees by talking about the global decline of atheism/agnosticism and its future implications on the Western World?

The unseaworthiness of atheism gets much, much worse

Now if all this incompetence wasn't bad enough, atheism has a history of petty bickering and the squabbling is now in full force. At the present time, atheists are engaged in numerous battles amongst themselves (Elevatorgate, PZ Myers and Freethoughtblogs vs. Thunderf00t, Paul Kurtz vs. the New Atheists, etc. etc.).

If you add this the fact that atheism has no proof and evidence that is true and that Christianity has an abundant amount of evidence supporting its claims, you can see that atheism is a very leaky and unstable ship.

Furthermore, the waves pounding the atheism ship are going to get bigger and bigger.

Are the ships of atheism and evolutionism ready for these waves, atheists and evolutionists? We both know they are not.

The 2004 to 2007 publicity campaign for atheism was not sustainable. Public interest is not coming back

Atheism experienced a surge of public interest due to some best selling books in the years 2004 - 2007, but the interest was not sustainable. The media hype surrounding these books and the books themselves did not gain any significant amount of new adherents to atheism in the United States. In March of 2008, the newspaper USA Today noted that survey data failed to show any discernible increase in the amount of atheists due to this publicity campaign.

The public's interest in evolutionism is now declining and global atheism is shrinking in adherents and market share (For those who have not seen this data, please see this collection of past articles: Global atheism is shrinking and public interest in evolutionism declining ).

There are a number of atheists and evolutionists who are angry about these matters and/or in denial. Why is this so? It is not because I did not provide enough evidence about this matters as I provided data from academic research, books, leading web traffic tracking companies and Google Trends. On the other hand, atheists and evolutionists provided no compelling set of data rebutting the validity of the data I provided nor my conclusions concerning this data.

Public and world interest in atheism: It's over and it's not coming back

Would you like to see a return to the days when the public had more interest in atheism?

This is not going to happen.

Consider these factors:

- Internet atheism has largely been a failure.

- Atheists are not going to start having more kids than religious people have or even have replacement level rates of fertility.

- Very few (if any) atheists are going to go to Africa or third world countries preaching atheism or go to door to door spreading atheism. There are going to be no atheism revivals.

- Tightfisted atheists/agnostics are not going to make large and sacrificial donations to spread atheism, agnosticism or evolutionism. Government money promoting evolutionary belief is being cut due to many governments being heavily in debt.

- Religious immigrants are going to fill secular countries to fill labor shortages.

- The Question Evolution! Campaign is not going away and is going to intensify.

- According to a Georgetown University study and a Pew Forum study, those who are raised atheists have low rates of retention as far as remaining atheists.

- A plan has been developed and is being refined on how to accelerate the decline of global atheism

- Internet evangelism organizations whose websites are receiving millions of views will likely partner with creationist organizations and teach each other various skill sets and mutually help each other in other ways such as refer each other web traffic. See: Overrunning Darwinism through internet evangelism, radical pricing (free) and wide distribution

For details concerning this matters please see: Decline of global atheism and evolutionism

Let's face it. Atheism and evolutionism are doomed. In addition, zealous, Bible believing creationists do not bargain with atheists or evolutionists so that is out too. So atheism and evolutionism are doubly doomed. God is not going to help atheism and evolutionism - triply doomed.

Expect Richard Dawkins and other prominent evolutionists to remain silent

Internet evangelism is powerful especially when combined with creation evangelism

Alan Beeber of Campus Crusade For Christ International (CCCI) predicted in 2006 that internet evangelism will result in more conversions than all other forms of evangelism for CCCI combined. There are certainly exciting things happening now as far as internet evangelism as you will soon see via this article.

We really believe that internet evangelism can be a tremendous boon to creation evangelism. Accordingly, our Question Evolution! Campaign  desires to establish alliances with Christian  internet evangelism organizations. As part of the Christian discipleship process, these internet evangelism organizations can teach people about biblical creation. See: Importance of origins

Creation Ministries International does have a web page listed prominently on their main page titled Good news which does give a gospel presentation. After the Question Evolution! Campaign is significantly developed and after other related biblical creation related ideas are significantly developed, we would like to help Creation Ministries International drive a lot of people to web pages similar to these at their website.

There are 6 ministries which I am aware of that have a big focus on internet internet evangelism.  So far our Question Evolution! group has contacted 2 of these organizations. In 2013/2014, we want to contact the remainder of these 6 organization plus we want to help spawn other organizations such as these.

Christian internet atheism is currently like a runaway train that keeps gaining more and more speed.

Consider:

In June of 2011, the internet evangelism organization Global Media Outreach reported:
Worldwide:

• Shared the Gospel with more than 150 million people

• Saw 19,287,789 indicate that they prayed in faith to receive Jesus Christ

• With 2,550,732 requesting follow-up from one of our 7,588 trained volunteer online missionaries

• 4,507,155 discipleship visits

• All 195 countries

Typically, around 15% of all visitors indicate they prayed in faith to receive Jesus. Of those approximately 1 in 5 request follow up. GMO believes that if only 5% of all indicated decisions were a reflection of true faith, the results would still be an overwhelming harvest for the Kingdom. All follow up measures taken by GMO to establish a reliable index of faith and growth among our responders have proven very encouraging as this report outlines in detail

Getting more Bible believers involved in internet evangelism and discipling these new believers will accelerate the global decline of atheism. Part of disclipling new believers is giving them some of the abundant proof and evidence indicating that biblical Christianity is true.

Currently, internet atheism by atheists is failing and global atheism is expected to decline at an accelerated rate. See: Internet atheism: The Thrill is gone! and Global decline of atheism - key tipping points

Internet evangelism

A June 2012 report from an online Christian evangelism effort by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association which is in its infancy:
So far, more than 476,000 people around the world have been saved since the website went live last year. Dan Corner, director of Evangelical Outreach, said it is a notable goal to reach lost souls through the Internet, but the message has to be tailored correctly to achieve real success.

BGEA’s site will be fully functional within one month. At that point, volunteers will also get online to answer questions about God and Christianity. They will also lead visitors through a five-week online discipleship course. The new Christians will be asked to join local churches that are affiliated with the BGEA. John Cass, director of Internet Evangelism for BGEA, said the organization is just using a model that has been done for years with crusades, celebrations and festivals and applying it to an Internet-based application.

In mid May of 2012, we announced that we are going to collaborate with online evangelism organization Network211 to help spread biblical creationism throughout the English speaking world and other places as well. They currently have an ongoing campaign to give 10,000,000 online gospel presentations and they are about 40% through this campaign. We will be speaking to someone later this week about this matter in terms of implementation. Some implementation may occur as early as this week.

A few years ago, a 2008 book entitled Internet Evangelism in the 21st Century which had laments that Christendom was slow in adopting internet evangelism. The laments were justified. The pioneers of internet evangelism have had such outstanding success that things are starting to quickly change.

Combining internet evangelism with creation evangelism

Internet evangelism is reaching millions of people with the gospel. We wrote about the power of internet evangelism. It has the potential to reach even more if it is combined with creationist material. People who are already Bible believers - especially new and teachable Bible believers - are far more receptive the creationist message.

It is really a win-win situation for internet evangelists and creation evangelists because people who are biblical creationist are more likely to stay Bible believers. Internet evangelists can teach creationists how to effectively reach lots of people with the gospel message since their websites are reaching millions of people. Creationists can help internet evangelists disciple their new converts and/or provide material for their websites. They can refer each other web visitors too.
