  1. ridiculous. matt didn't lose anything. as always, christians and specifically this christian can't make a rational argument for the existence of god. there is simply no evidence and no reason to think that the supernatural exists. just because you put your own video notes on doesn't mean the "atheist lost". if anything it shows you can't show this video without crib notes for your followers.

    1. Giovanni,

You previously dodged a debate offer we gave to you. See:
http://questionevolution.blogspot.com/2012/11/darwinism-has-lost-its-bite-since-15.html Of course, this tells us that you are unable to address to the teleological argument for the existence of God.

We will give you one last chance to accept the debate offer and if you don't, we will assume you are merely one of the many insincere atheist posers who knows God exists.

      Here is the debate offer:

Are you willing to have a debate centered around the 15 questions for evolutionists (see: http://creation.com/15-questions )
via a recorded oral debate which would be distributed to tens of thousands of people.

If you are confident in your evolutionary beliefs, please make the necessary arrangements via this free chat room: http://login.meetcheap.com/conference,89538844 You can make the necessary arrangements with the chat room moderators Shockofgod or VivaYehshua. Alternatively, you can email Shockofgod via his YouTube email at http://www.youtube.com/user/shockofgod

If you want to know more about the debate, any and all questions should be directed to Shockofgod or VivaYehshua

There will be no future communication with you via this blog until you accept this debate offer and carry through with the debate.

    2. interestingly, i don't see any way to email shock on his youtube page. i also can't comment, because comments are disabled for anyone not his friends. i can't even access the chat room because the "moderators" there (viva and others) have found it fit to ban-hammer me because they don't like what i've got to say. so instead of a conversation, all the religious can do is ban people and offending thought.

    3. Giovanni Trappatoni,

Darwinists, especially leftists who hold Darwinist ideas, are known for engaging in deceit so excuse me if I am skeptical of your claims of not being able to reach Shockofgod and VivaYehshua. For example, Charles Darwin was a materialist (a type of atheist) or at the very least an agnostic at the time he wrote his racist work The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life. Charles Darwin's casual mentioning of a ‘creator’ in earlier editions of The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life. appears to have been a merely a ploy to downplay the implications of his materialistic hypothesis. See: http://creation.com/charles-darwins-real-message-have-you-missed-it

With that being said, contacting Shockofgod is not difficult at all. I did it in order to first get in contact with him and so can you. You merely send a friend request to his YouTube account (he will accept it) and then his YouTube email preferences will enable you to contact him. He also has a blog you can reach him though: http://shockawenow.blogspot.com/ It is really not rocket science to get in contact with him if you truly want to.

I don't believe you want to get in contact with him. That is because we both know you would lose such a debate.

Next, except for a few bad moderators who were weeded out, I don't see people being arbitrarily banhammered in Shockofgod's chat room. He has had over 50 debates with atheists/agnosticis/evolutionists that he recorded and posted to YouTube so obviously he and his moderators are not afraid of these people. Except for one person who was blocked by a moderator who was short lived at Shockofgod's room, I haven't had any sincere people tell me that they couldn't get in contact with Shockofgod or VivaYehshua due to being blocked. Maybe you are insincere or one of the many militant and foul mouthed atheists who cannot engage in civil debate. Maybe you are not telling me the truth. Frankly, it seems mightily suspicious that you supposedly can't get in contact with Shockofgod or VivaYehshua because I certainly was able to. In addition, today there are innumerable proxies so blocking from a chat room seems a very weak defense. After all is said and done, I am very suspicious of your sincerity.

In addition, feel free to leave your email or create an additional one at Yahoo and leave it here in a way that will not trouble you with spambots such as myemailATyahooDOTcom and indicate you want to engage in a debate.

But let's be clear. I am not going to buy your Darwinist excuses that you can't get in contact with Shockofgod or VivaYeshua in order to engage in a recorded debate

    1. Alfredo,

I am not impressed by atheist blowhards who engage in big talk and then quickly back down quickly from debate offers. There are too many atheist posers who are not confident about their atheism.

  3. Geez, lots of vitreole on this board. You Christians and Atheists need to put down your swords and move into he agnostic space. Its a much less confrontational place to be. Nobody can know any of this stuff for sure so its patently foolish to argue about. We'll all find out out directly anyhoo. Until then we should all just chill out, keep our minds open, and see where the knowledge leads us while we are here.

  4. Jacob,

    3 things:

    1. One of the most vitriolic people on the planet is the agnostic Richard Dawkins. Thomas Huxley was an agnostic and he was called "Darwin's bulldog".

    2. Consider this:

Complete agnosticism is self-defeating; it reduces to the self-destructing assertion that "one knows enough about reality in order to affirm that nothing can be known about reality." This statement provides within itself all that is necessary to falsify itself. For if one knows something about reality, then he surely cannot affirm in the same breath that all of reality is unknowable. And of course if one knows nothing whatsoever about reality, then he has no basis whatsoever for making a statement about reality. It will not suffice to say that his knowledge about reality is purely and completely negative, that is, a knowledge of what one cannot meaningfully affirm that something is not – that it follows that total agnosticism is self-defeating because it assumes some knowledge about reality in order to deny any knowledge of reality (Geisler, Apologetics, p. 20)

    3. You didn't support your assertion that nobody can know for sure. In addition, there are lots of times in our lives where it is very rational to believe and act when one has less than 100% certainty. When people wake up in the morning, they generally don't make sure there is not a rattlesnake under their bed even though they are not 100% sure there isn't.
