Peer-reviewed mainstream science journal says Darwinism "Has Pretty Much Reached the End of its Rope". How will Darwinism completely die off?

Evolution News published an article on February 6, 2012 entitled Peer-Reviewed Paper Concludes that Darwinism "Has Pretty Much Reached the End of Its Rope" which declared:
An interesting paper was recently published by David Depew and Bruce Weber in the journal Biological Theory. The paper bears the title "The Fate of Darwinism: Evolution After the Modern Synthesis." Its abstract summarizes the article's contents:
We trace the history of the Modern Evolutionary Synthesis, and of genetic Darwinism generally, with a view to showing why, even in its current versions, it can no longer serve as a general framework for evolutionary theory. The main reason is empirical. Genetical Darwinism cannot accommodate the role of development (and of genes in development) in many evolutionary processes. We go on to discuss two conceptual issues: whether natural selection can be the "creative factor" in a new, more general framework for evolutionary theorizing; and whether in such a framework organisms must be conceived as self-organizing systems embedded in self-organizing ecological systems....
The second point of interest is the paper's claim that "Darwinism in its current scientific incarnation has pretty much reached the end of its rope." Furthermore, as the authors argue,
...it is largely because Lamarckism, saltationist (sudden) mutationism, and inner-driven orthogenesis, to name the most enduring alternative traditions in evolutionary biology, failed to become mathematized empirical sciences with at least a foothold on value-neutrality that Darwinism still rules the evolutionary roost

If you still have any doubts that evolutionism is intellectually dead, then I highly suggest reading this work on the origin of life: Origin of life

Isn't is curious that the peer-reviewed Journal of Creation has never said that biblical creationism is nearly at the end of its rope, but a secular mainstream science journal recently said that Darwinism is "nearly at the end of its rope"?

Having a hard time breathing Mr. Darwinist now that the trap door has been released on the Darwinism gallows?  The reason I ask is that you are at the end of your rope and not merely near the end of your rope! It is no coincidence that you cannot satisfactorily answer the 15 Questions for evolutionists because you are most certainly at the very end of your rope and having great difficulty justifying your pseudoscience in your own mind and in the minds of well-informed creationists.

So how will Darwinism completely die off?

Barring the second coming of Christ, Darwinism will probably completely die off thusly:

1. Western Christians must significantly  increase the dissemination of their message. This is already happening via the 3 largest creationist organizations and other creationist organizations, but it needs to be done to a much greater extent and I see this beginning to  happen.  However,  Darwinism is not going down without a fight and Darwinists will endeavor to brainwash young people to a greater degree.  Christians must not take this lying down.

2. Liberalism which ideologically and financially supports Darwinism is beginning to show signs of financial strain (Eurocrisis, gargantuan 17 trillion dollar Federal government debt load in the United States which continues to climb, etc.).  This financial house of cards could collapse anytime now. But even if it does not collapse,  there is definitely going to be serious austerity measures being forced onto the Western World within a generation.

This is going to impact the funding of pro-evolution public schools and universities which are currently churning out many unemployable young people with useless degrees who are not ready for a very competitive job market. Private religious schools educate students more economically and do a better job of creating productive citizens. Expect to see the trend of more vouchers for religious schools and the trend of a growing homeschooling movement continue.   See:  Coming public school funding crisis and Private schools are more cost-effective

Question: How many cases of students engaging in murderous rampages do you see in Christian schools? Answer: None! Darwinists cannot say the same about the pro-evolution  public schools.

3. Global creationism is growing fast.  Creationist immigrants are flowing into Europe. In France,  evangelicalism was recently named the fastest growing religion by scholars. Meanwhile, global atheism/agnosticism have been shrinking for about 10 years.  See: Global Christianity vs. global atheism/agnosticism

Will Darwinism completely die off?

Since Darwinism is intellectually already dead, it comes down  to creationist getting out their message in bigger and bigger ways, the Darwinist old guard dying off and Darwinist pseudoscience continuing to be debunked through new scientific findings.  The Christian church killed off the Roman gods. It can kill off Darwinism as well.  Christians, will you take part in this process of destroying Darwinism? Start spreading the creationist message today if you have not started already.  Ask your friends to take the Question Evolution! quiz.  Much work needs to be done and Christians cannot afford to be complaisant.

5 strategies for collapsing Darwinism

Two important questions:

1. What 5 key strategies can opponents of evolution use to collapse Darwinism?

2. Will opponents of evolution collapse Darwinism through having sheer numbers of adherents or through superior resources, creativity, foresight and the attrition of Darwinists? Alternatively, will it be though a combination of some or all of these factors?

Three master strategists in history

Some believers of biblical creation are satisfied with incremental gains over Darwinism.  Our Question Evolution! Campaign group and other like minded creationists want total victory. In short, the world collapse of Darwinism.

History is replete with examples of various ideologies and religions disappearing off the face of the earth.  And make no mistake about it,  Darwinism is both an ideology and a religion. Michael Ruse, an atheist and evolutionist science philosopher admitted, “Evolution is a religion. This was true of evolution in the beginning, and it is true of evolution still today.”

Military commanders and scholars consider these three military strategist to be among the best in the history:

1. The Chinese general Sun Tzu

2. The Prussian military theorist Carl von Clausewitz

3. Antoine-Henri Jomini who served under French and Russian armies.

Sun Tzu

Sun Tzu's strategies and tactics embody the "Eastern tradition of strategy that emphasizes outwitting an opponent through speed, stealth, flexibility, and a minimum of effort." An essay discussing Sun Tzu declares that Tzu promotes "fluidity, flexibility, surprise,,, and intelligence over sheer military might."

Other key principles of Sun Tzu are: finding ways of conquering an enemy without actually fighting (putting the opposition in no win situations), attacking an enemies strategy, attacking weak points of an enemy, the importance of timing and bringing war to an end as quickly as possible.

Sun Tzu is widely credited for writing the classic work The Art of War which is still studied by military strategist today.

Carl von Clausewitz

Two key quotes of Carl von Clauswitz:

“If you want to overcome your enemy you must match your efforts against his power of resistance, which can be expressed as the product of two inseparable factors; the total means at his disposal and the strength of his will.”

“If in conclusion we consider the total concept of a victory, we find it consists of three elements: the enemy’s greater loss of material strength, his loss of morale, and his open admission of the above by giving up his intentions.”

In addition, Clausewitz was focused on: the massive application of force, "the importance of finding the center of gravity, or the critical point at the critical time, upon which the outcome of the conflict depended" and the unpredictability of war and/or "fog of war".

Because Clausewitz has a focus on breaking the enemies will and civilian leadership is often in charge of the military in the Western socities, Clausewitz wrote about the political aspects of war also.

Antoine-Henri Jomini

Jomini  stressed: putting superior combat power at a decisive point, attacking key points, operational warfare and using a minimal of combat power to achieve objectives.

5 strategies to collapse Darwinism

I don't agree with all of the ideas expressed by these military strategists in terms of defeating an opposition and ideological wars are not the same as military conflicts. Yet, there are some similarities.

With that being said, below is a list of the key ways that creationists can collapse Darwinism.

5 strategies to collapse Darwinism

 1. Strength of resources

Borrowing from Carl von Clausewitz and it is important to have as much firepower as possible.  We wrote about this in our articles on the importance of fundraising entitled Winning the creation vs. evolution war with the help of strong fundraising and We are off to the races as far as developing our creation vs. evolution fundraising abilities

In short, we want to we want to "flood the zone" on the public forum as much as possible.

We will do what it takes to optimize fundraising using fundraising best practices and using a variety of methods to fundraising. Millions have been raised to fight Darwinism. We believe that attacking Darwinism involves a well designed, strategic and efficient grassroots effort and other efforts to support it (such as internet evangelism and other forms of evangelism) will be attractive to the Christian community.

We know that secular ideology is weak and worth attacking in a broad way to reach the general public.  And this is certainly true in the case of Darwinism. A 2012 study found that people believed in evolution due to having a gut feeling. See: Evolutionary gut feelings, "Belief in Evolution Boils Down to a Gut Feeling"

A 2012  Georgetown University study indicating that those who raised atheist by their family have a mere 30% retention rate as far as staying atheist indicates that atheism is a weak ideology.  Also, in communist China,  Christianity is rapidly growing in both the countryside and in its cities too.

Sun Tzu and Carl von Clausewitz also taught value of timing. Currently, the Western World is buried by a mountain of debt which is causing wide spread unemployment in various countries and financial instability. A growing number of financial experts conclude that the West is going to experience a very significant amount of financial pain and/or that a global economic depression is coming.  History teaches us that in times of trouble people often turn to God and question their current views on life. For more information please see:  Social unrest in Europe altering its religious landscape

In addition, Western society under financial duress and facing increased business competition from the Eastern World  is likely to make cuts in  public funding of Darwinist ideology such  finding ways to private schooling  since it is more economical (vouchers for private schools, charter schools, online education, shut down some public colleges/universities, etc.).

In addition, I believe in the strong use of fundraising because I think it is important to kill off Darwinism as quickly as possible as it is a needless stumbling block to Christian evangelism.  This is in accordance of Sun Tzu's principle of ending conflicts as quickly as possible.  In addition, Sun Tzu stressed the importance of preparation and having a well supplied army.

2. Attacking Darwinism at key points

Although  Sun Tzu, Carl von Clausewitz and Antoine-Henri Jomini  have very different approaches,  they all agree on the importance of attacking the opposition strategically and at key points.  See: Attacking Darwinism at key points

3 Attacking the enemies strategy

Sun Tzu taught it is important to attack the enemies strategy. For example, indoctrinating students in public schools is a key strategy of Darwinists.

We know that in America most teachers are reluctant to endorse evolutionism in class.

Therefore, we are going to educate children on the many weaknesses of Darwinism through the 15 questions for evolutionists taught through a variety of method.

Then of course, we are going to encourage students to bring up these 15 questions in class if there teachers are trying to indoctrinate the class in evolutionary dogma. We can also train students to do this in summer camps, churches and other places. See: The high price of NOT asking the 15 Questions for Evolutionists in your classroom

If David has the boldness to defeat Goliath, should not Christian students bring up objections to Darwinism to teachers who are often reluctant to endorse Darwinism in class?  Isn't this especially true since the false beliefs of evolutionary thought are antithetical to what the Bible teaches and corrosive to biblical morality. See: Morals decline linked to evolution - university study

In addition, conservative Bible clubs are proliferating across the United States in public schools and other places through coordinated effort of a national Christian organization. It makes all the sense in the world to form a strategic alliance with this group and similar groups via Question Evolution! materials designed with their needs in mind. See: Bible in schools and alliances with Question Evolution! campaign supporters

We do want to thank Richard Dawkins for letting us know about this tremendous opportunity of these quickly growing Bible clubs in schools via his website which has seen declining viewers in recent years. See:
Creation Ministries International blows past Richard Dawkins in terms of their website traffic.

4. Speed

Since it is a grassroots campaign, recruiting more and more volunteers is key.

It is also important to use as many key venues as possible to get the message out such as the internet, churches, mass media, news media, and other venues. See: Our group's plan, strategy and tactics for advancing the Question Evolution! Campaign

5.  Flexibility and minimum of effort to achieve goals

We are always gong to be looking for ways to deliver our message faster and more economically. For example, forming alliances and taking advantage of technological advances and/or new marketing venues/channels. This is in line with the thinking of Sun Tzu and Jomini.

In addition, Sun Tzu taught the importance of surprise and stealth to keep your opponents off balance. We have a number of things planned that we we think will be very effective once they are released to the general public.

War of attrition:

Alex White, a manager for non-profit causes, says that often modern day ideological wars are wars of attrition and there is some wisdom and applicability in this statement.  On the other hand, in an information age and various technologies to rapidly get out one's message, the applicability of White's statement is mitigated and is not a blanket statement. It all depends how entrenched an ideology is in various regions and sectors of the populace.

J. Bartholomees wrote: “there will always be one enemy soldier armed with a knife who is willing to give their life to continue the fight”.  Unfortunately for evolutionists, post losing hundreds of debates at colleges, universities and other public places around the time of the 1970's, they are now like timid little bunnies who are afraid to publicly debate.  We love challenging evolutionist blowhards who make comments on our blog to debates and watching them deflate and cowardly scamper away.

In addition, Richard Dawkins and the British Human Society ducked debating the Christian apologist William Lane Craig and this was reported in major news outlets and in the Christian and conservative press. Furthermore, the ex-atheist Richard Dawkins in a very public way declared himself an agnostic (which many people where not aware of) which was very embarrassing to the atheist community. Dawkins and his publisher seem to want to retain the label of atheist for Dawkins when he is peddling books, however. See: Is Richard Dawkins a flip-flopper?

As you can see, Carl von Clausewit's stressing of the importance of breaking the will of the opposition so their will to fight is removed has very limited applicability in the creation vs. evolution controversy. Unless of course, you think timid little bunnies need their will to fight diminished.

Also, Christopher Hitchens was an atheist sophist who had charisma. Post Hitchens dying the little esprit de corps is gone and now atheists are involved in intense bickering among themselves and trying to launch feeble gimics to repackage atheism and put a new face on atheism (Atheism+, etc.).  It is pointless.  The atheist Dr. Sam Harris said about the label of atheist, "It's right next to child molester as a designation."

Eric Kaufmann and attrition and immigration

The work of Professor Eric Kaufmann and the scholarship Gordon-Conwell Seminary is very instructive in terms of the battle of attrition between Christians and atheists, agnostics and those who are more secular minded.

In 2012, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (GCTS) reported that every day there are 800 less atheists per day, 1,100 less non-religious (agnostic) people per day and 83,000 more people professing to be Christians per day (see: Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary - status of Global Mission report).

The Birkbeck College, University of London professor Eric Kaufmann using a multitude of demographic studies argues in an academic paper entitled Shall the Righteous Inherit the Earth? Demography and Politics in the Twenty-First Century the decline of atheism in terms of its global adherents is an established trend that will persist for the foreseeable future and the rate of decline will accelerate and affect the Western World. See: Why are the years 2012 and 2020 key years for Christian creationists and pro-lifers?

Michael Blume, a researcher at the University of Jena in Germany, wrote "Most societies or communities that have espoused atheistic beliefs have not survived more than a century." Blume also indicated concerning concerning his research on this matter: "What I found was the complete lack of a single case of a secular population, community or movement that would just manage to retain replacement level."

For more information, please see:

Comprehensive look at the decline of evolutionism, atheism and agnosticism and the rise of Christianity and creationism

Thomas Kuhn on attrition and scientific paradigms

A review of Thomas Kuhn's Structure of Scientific Revolutions declares about old paradigms dying out through attrition:
Kuhn argues that scientific “progress” is not linear. New theories and paradigms are not continuations of old ones but replace the old ones and are discontinuous and incommensurable with them. Criticism of earlier science must be made through the eyes of the contemporary. The new ones arise due to the bulk of evidence against the old becoming intolerable; they become paradigms as they become accepted by younger scientists and as the older ones die.
The science community does not exist in a vacuum. Scientists are human beings who are affected by their culture and personal worldviews.  It is no mistake that the Scientific Revolution occurred in Christianized Europe and that many of the founding fathers of modern science were Christians. And as per the factors of described in Kaufman's work and other factors, we believe that a secular culture is destined to die in the West.

Summary

Bible believing Christians being instrumental to collapsing Darwinism will involve a combination of working hard, working smart and through attrition due to demographic factors.

One reason why Darwinism loving liberal Christianity and the agnosticism/atheism population are headed towards a collapse of their own doing

Are Darwinism loving liberal Christianity and the Darwinism loving agnosticism/atheism population heading towards collapse?

A 2008 article entitled Demographic Winter  declared:
You can't completely grasp the extent of Europe's post-Christian decline until you walk through the ghost towns of Italy, populated by no more a dozen elderly women and one old man sleeping in the sun. It's not something that any tourist is going to see in Florence, Venice or Rome, much less Milano, but go outside the tourist tombs and the desolation of demographic winter is impossible to miss. And the imported African hookers scattered along the truck routes in the countryside are hardly adequate compensation for what were once famously vibrant family units.

There's a large and spectacular church on the outskirts of a town near which we like to wander. Its doors are only unlocked for an hour or so every month, because despite its gorgeous interior architecture and painted ceilings, there's not only no one around to attend it, there's not even anyone left to visit it.

In Europe, where Darwinism is more prevalent in the world than in many countries, many of these countries have sub-replacement levels of birth.  See:  2011 European fertility rates

The demographic winter for atheism/agnosticism is even worse and is a demographic Siberia:
Atheism and agnosticism are headed towards demographic Siberia

Meanwhile, young earth creationism is a boom town when it  comes to demographics and birth rates: Conservative Christianity is demographically prospering  In addition, due to: evangelism, religious immigration and  the higher birth rates of religious conservatives, creationism is growing in the world including in many Western countries:  Global creationism

Of course, this is all very ironic since Darwinism says only the fit who procreate and pass on their genes will survive.

A major supply line to Darwinism just suffered a major reversal - college bubble is finally bursting. Also, the infrastructure of Darwinism, atheism, agnosticism and liberalism is crumbling

In our article College enrollment shows signs of slowing which means less post high school evolutionary indoctrination. Also, the ever shrinking role of tenured evolutionist professors and evolutionary biologists , we explained how liberal academia was a major ideological supply line to Darwinism that was showing signs of weakness.

On May 11, 2013, Business Insider published an article entitled The College Bubble is finally bursting

Lastly, you can see via the article A New Theory of Secularization  that the infrastructure of Darwinism provided by secularism/liberalism is crumbling:
...if you read the financial pages, it looks as if the welfare states of the West cannot be sustained forever; just as a demographic matter there are too few taxpayers to go around.

Over in Europe where the birthrate’s been lower than ours for awhile now, you’re really starting to see the effects of this. So to play futurist, what will happen down the road if these welfare states prove to be incapable of doing what they’re doing now, namely providing cradle to grave help for the fractured family?

That I think is the biggest question facing us and on one reading of the facts, which I think is probably the most accurate, the cataclysm of the imploding welfare states will itself bring about a family and religious revival because in times of adversity, people turn to what’s organically connected to that — and they turn to their families, they turn to their churches. We saw this after 911 when people who had not set foot in a church or synagogue in many years were suddenly doing it again.
To better see the relevance of the effect of socialism on secularization and the effect of an economic turmoil on Europe please see the articles below.

And of course, other infrastructure of Darwinism is crumbling too such as declining newspaper readership, upcoming funding problems of public schools which the agnostic Bill Gates has been talking about, etc. etc. . Please see:  Crumbling Darwinist infrastructure. Creationism is getting stronger.

Resolving the creation vs. evolution war: Independent third party arbitration or total victory and systematically grinding away at the folly of Darwinism?

Recently, someone commented on the Question Evolution! Campaign and its 15 questions for evolutionists. He politely suggested that some independent third party arbiter judge whether evolutionists have satisfactorily answered the 15 questions for evolutionists. He was unable to propose who the arbitrator would be, however.

Arbitration and the 15 questions for evolutionists

A few points:

1. There is no doubt the 15 questions for evolutionists are relevant and deserve to be asked. A moderator at Richard Dawkins' website said the questions were interesting questions when he posted them to the Richard Dawkins website. And even though Dawkins' reach to the general public is a shadow of its former self, he still is considered to be a leading spokesman for Darwinism.  See:  2012 was a very BAD year for the evolutionist Richard Dawkins

2. Judging by the feeble debate performance of a Reddit atheist to the 15 questions for evolutionists, the embarrassing tackling of the 15 questions by another evolutionist  (MOPC) and  the fear of the larger evolutionist community to debate these 15 questions with the popular YouTube Christian Shockofgod and his chat room moderator who has taken biology courses at a major university, these 15 fundamental questions posed to evolutionists are totally stumping evolutionists and thoroughly making an embarrassment of the bankrupt ideology Darwinism (see the videos below).

Abitration or total victory and systematically grinding away at Darwinism at a high rate of speed

Given the two points above,  the only thing left to do is to widely disseminate the Question Evolution! Campaign and let the 15 questions for evolutionists grind away at the folly of evolutionism.  And we believe we have a plan in place that will be an absolute machine when in comes grinding away at Darwinism.

God's grace and the patience of saints and planning can work wonders

One of the things many atheists, agnostics. Darwinists typically lack is patience and planning. That is why atheists and evolutionists have no master plan to stop their global decline and the explosive growth in global creationism even in secular countries such as France.   See:  Evolutionists, atheists and agnostics: What is your master plan to reverse your decline?

Christian creationists are not like this.  We have the patience of saints because we are saints. We can plan our work and patiently work our plan.  We can make continued daily, weekly and yearly success until our objectives are achieved. And there is absolutely every reason to believe the plans of creationists will see big success given the many powerful trends that are in favor of biblical creation belief having long term success and atheism, agnosticism and Darwinism having a bleak future.

Timing, patience and aggressive outreach will inevitably lead to many victories in 2013 and beyond

Furthermore, in addition to having patience, Christians historically are very aggressive when it comes to evangelism in order to capitalize on the opportunities God provides us. The proliferation of Christianity across the globe and its current global expansion  is testimony to this fact. See: Rise of global Christianity

King Solomon taught that there is a time for everything under the sun.  The great military strategist Sun Tzu taught the importance of timing and flexibility. And now the time is ripe for the campaign to rapidly increase its outreach.

Evolutionists, we predicted that 2012 would be the worst year in the history of Darwinism and it was so. Expect 2013 to be the worst year in the history of Darwinism.

Secular French leaders will play a key role in discrediting secular leftists and their ideologies such as Darwinism

Darwinism was one of the foundation stones of communism (see: Darwinism and communism and Marxism, law and evolution: Marxist law in both theory and practice).  In addition, European socialist leaders have been hostile to biblical creationism (see: When will Europe wake up? ).

Also, unlike most liberal economics academics, Peter Schiff the owner of EuroPacific Capital was amongst the financial analysts who predicted the 2008 economic crisis.

John Browne of EuroPacific Capital wrote in a January 18, 2013 article entitled France And The UK Could Be The Lynchpins Of Europe which indicated:
Over the past two months, Europe’s problems seem to have disappeared from the headlines. However, the new French Socialist government is pushing ahead with policies that favor significantly higher government spending, greater regulation of business and commerce, and severely higher taxes on high earners. The long term effects of these policies, which I believe will lead to further economic decline, may be given fresh scrutiny if France is drawn into a lasting conflict in West Africa as a result of its surprise intervention in Mali last week...

French President Sarkozy was a Europhile. He conducted French policy in lock step support of German initiatives. However, his successor, President François Hollande, is an ardent Socialist. His policies are leading France towards a possible economic disaster on par with those facing Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain (PIGS). Intimating that France was a potentially mortal threat to the EU, the Economist’s cover for the November 17th - 23rd 2012 issue carried the headline,‘The time-bomb at the heart of Europe.’ An open ended commitment to defend France’s former West African colonies against Islamist incursions from the Sahara could fast track a fiscal crisis. Whereas the economies of most of the PIGS were small enough to be bailed out, France has the world’s sixth largest economy. It is far too big for a bailout without threatening the economies of Germany and the UK.
Darwinism, atheism, agnosticism and socialism are secular religions promoted by secular minded governments of Europe (see: Darwinism and atheism are religions). If these governments fail, it will certainly cause these secular religions to be more closely examined by its populace and in the world at large.  In 2011, the religious and political scholar Professor Eric Kaufman wrote of the exhaustion of secular religions. We can see this exhaustion in the dwindling popularity of internet atheism and Darwinist websites which began in 2007.  See: Decline of internet atheism. and  The 2004 to 2007 publicity campaign for atheism was not sustainable. Public interest is not coming back

In addition, there is more infighting within the atheist community at the present time (see: Atheist infigthing and Freethoughtblogs ). This can't be helping the esprit de corps of the atheist movement and I read of atheist activists dropping out of the atheist movement because of it. It's clear that those holding secular ideologies lack coherent ideologies which offer reasonable explanations of the world so it is not surprising that their communities are pandemoniums.

Also, when do sports teams often engage in bickering? When things are going well or when they are losing?  It is obvious that those holding secular ideologies are unable to intellectually defend their nonsense and that they are losing the fight when it comes to the world at large (See: Global atheism).   For example,  the Christian philosopher Dr. William Lane Craig challenge the British Human Society and Richard Dawkins to a debate and they both ducked the debate offer. Creation Ministries International offered to to debate the members of the Global Atheist Conference in 2010 and they refused to accept their debate offer. See: 21 century atheism is well-known for its cowardice

Professor Eric Hoffman in an academic paper entitled Shall the Righteous Inherit the Earth? Demography and Politics in the Twenty-First Century wrote concerning religious conservatives prevailing against weakened secularism:
Ethnicity and race may succumb to liberal modernity, but committed religious populations cannot be assimilated to liberal secularism fast enough to compensate for their demographic advantage in a world of plunging fertility and growing migration. In the end, it is a battle between religious fertility on the one hand, and, on the other, religious decline through the 'assimilation' of religious offspring into secularism. This paper argues that the weakness of secularism and a widening secular-religious fertility gap points toward a religious victory...

The principle of tolerating and 'celebrating' diversity is a corollary of postmodern relativism which opens up space for antimodern religious 'diversities' to take root. If they are demographically-powerful religious movements like Islamism or evangelical Chrisianity, they will exploit this weakness to progressively erode the hegemony of western secular humanism....

In the Europe of tomorrow, immigration and religious fertility will increase the proportion of committed Muslims and Christians, many from the developing world. It may seem fanciful to imagine a moral conservatism uniting white and nonwhite Christians as well as Muslims against 'secular humanists'. However, a version of this process has occurred in the United States, and it can be argued that the cocktail of cultural relativism, secular exhaustion and demographic change is even more potent in Europe than America. The division between native ethnic groups and immigrant groups is currently more important in Europe, but as the Muslim and religious Christian minorities grow, they will become as important for conservative politicians as the religious Hispanics of America whom the Republicans have so assiduously courted. At some point, it will make more electoral sense for European conservatives to appeal to a trans-ethnic coalition of moral conservatives than it will to stress anti-immigrant themes and ethno-nationalism. The liberal-left will find it extremely difficult to craft a defense of secularism given its investment in cultural relativism, the exhaustion of its secular religions, and its laissez-faire attitude to demographic change.

Standing back from the fray, we can think of demography as the achilles heel of
liberalism.

When will American and European Darwinism collapse? How fast will they collapse?

Questions

1. When will European Darwinism collapse? When will American Darwinism collapse?

2. How fast will Christian creationism expand and Darwinism collapse in Europe?

3. What can Christendom learn from the experiences of an innovative and forward thinking Christian organization about speeding up the collapse of  European Darwinism, atheism and agnosticism?

European creationism is growing.   Even in secular France, creationism is quickly growing. See:
Immigrant evangelical churches are a fast growing movement in France and  French scholars say evangelicalism is likely the fastest growing religion in France

This must be troubling to dogmatic evolutionist because if creationism can grow in Europe, it can grow anywhere.  We covered this matter in a number of articles: A collection of our articles on European creationism

Europe's economic prospects and its religious landscape

Michael Shedlock's analysis of the global economy and the European economic crisis is highly praised by both sides of ideological fence - namely by liberal media outlets and by conservatives in terms of their economic/political views. You can read his bio and see for yourself: Michael Shedlock's bio

Recent articles by Mr. Shedlock demonstrates that Europe's underlying problems are not being solved and they are going to lead to major economic problems in Europe: European economic problems and Eurocrises: Crunching the numbers and Europe's economic prospects

Even Germany a prodigious exporter is being affected now by the current problems.

In addition, there is some excellent economic analysis done by a mainstream newspaper on the Eurocrisis: The Eurozone explained via 5 simple grafts and  Can an economy still grow with serious debt?

Economics and atheism

Furthermore, we know that changes in the economic and political landscape can make significant and even dramatic changes in the religious landscape. See: Social unrest in Europe altering its religious landscape  and Does atheism thrive on economic prosperity? Does religion prosper when people are desperate and ignorant?

How strong is atheism in its young adherents

In addition, we know that atheism is a weak ideology and those raised in atheist households have low retention rates in terms of remaining atheists. See: Georgetown University study provides two clues to shrinking atheism faster

The speed of collapse of Darwinism in Europe

Professor Eric Kaufman,  who teaches at the University of London, Birbeck College, indicates that the higher rate of fertility of religious conservatives, the sub-replacement levels of fertility among the secular population and religious immigration will cause the religion to triumph in the world including secular Europe.  See: Shall the Righteous Inherit the Earth? Demography and Politics in the Twenty-First Century and Religious immigrants highly resistant to secularization will dramatically alter the religious landscape of Europe

Financial commentator Michael Snyder wrote in his article The Coming Economic Collapse Will Not Be A Single Event:
Many people hype “the coming economic collapse” as if it is some kind of big summer Hollywood blockbuster.  Many people out there write about it as if it is something that will happen in a single day or over a few weeks and that it will suddenly change how the entire world functions.  But that is not how the financial world works.  The financial world is like a game of chess – very slow and methodical.  Yes, there are times when things happen very quickly (like back in 2008), but even that crisis played out over a number of months.  Sadly, most Americans are not used to thinking in terms of months or years.  These days, most Americans have the attention span of a goldfish and most Americans have been trained to expect instant gratification.  They are simply not accustomed to being patient and to wait for things.  Well, despite what you may have read, the economic collapse is not going to be a single event.  It is going to play out over quite a few years.  In some ways we are experiencing an economic collapse right now.  When the next major financial crisis occurs, many will be calling that “an economic collapse”.  But if you really want to grasp what is happening to us, you need to think long-term.  We are heading for a complete and total nightmare, but it is going to take some time to get to the end of the story.

Yes, there will certainly be times of great chaos.  The financial crisis of 2008 was one of those moments. But the financial crisis of 2008 did not completely destroy us. Neither will the next crisis. I think it is helpful to think of what is happening to us as a series of waves. When you build a beautiful sand castle on the beach, the first wave that comes in does not totally destroy it. Rather, the first wave weakens the castle and it is destroyed by subsequent waves. Well, that is what is happening to us.
I believe economic degradation of Europe will happen in a series of events and that economic competition with Asia and other countries will cause European decline to accelerate.  In addition, European governments will try to socialize the effects of their decline as much as possible. This will prolong their decline. The billionaire and legendary investor Jim Rogers is very bullish on China/Asia and has even moved his family to Singapore. As noted above, Christianity is exploding in China in terms of its adherents. See: China: World's biggest atheist population about to see a big decline

Also, there is a possibility that some European countries may minimize the effects of their long term decline by defaulting on their debt and forcing their bankers to take the economic lumps instead of their populace which Iceland did. See: Iceland: default and devalue  However, I don't believe that this will stem the long term decline of Europe in our lifetime.  Also, central bankers, private bankers and government bureaucrats are very stubborn and their influence is very strong so defaults on sovereign debt and/or private bank debt maybe the exception rather than the rule. See: Stubborn central bankers and Bankers and Italy/Greece

Traditionally, when there is a state religion and there are political scandals the reputation of the state religion gets sullied. In addition, a state religion inhibits competition and so the religious landscape suffers in terms of quality and vibrancy (the religious scholar Rodney Stark does some excellent work in this area). Furthermore, when a state begins losing power, the state religion loses its grasp of power as well.

Darwinism is both an ideology and a religion. Michael Ruse, an atheist and evolutionist science philosopher admitted, “Evolution is a religion. This was true of evolution in the beginning, and it is true of evolution still today.”

So it would seem that European governments facing increasing economic problems would have their policies questioned concerning Darwinism by a growing religious population within their midst.  In addition, it would make sense that as secular Europe suffers decline that secular ideologies such as atheism, agnosticism and Darwin would be less influential in the world. Also, as Asian Christianity continues to explode and Asia continues to prosper long term, it would seem as if Christian influence in the world would increase.

Professor Eric Kaufman wrote concerning Europe in his paper entitled Shall the Righteous Inherit the Earth? Demography and Politics in the Twenty-First Century :
We have performed these unprecedented analyses on several cases. Austria offers us a window into what the future holds. Its census question on religious affiliation permits us to perform cohort component projections, which show the secular population plateauing by 2050, or as early as 2021 if secularism fails to attract lapsed Christians and new Muslim immigrants at the same rate as it has in the past. (Goujon, Skirbekk et al. 2006).

This task will arguably become far more difficult as the supply of nominal Christians dries up while more secularisation-resistant Muslims and committed rump Christians comprise an increasing share of the population.
Collapse of Darwinism in America

America has a stronger history of religious freedom than Europe. So the religion of Darwinism has had less sway in America than in Europe. And make no mistake, Darwinism is a religion and ardent Darwinists have established a cult of personality around Charles Darwin.  See: Darwinism is a religion and Question Evolution! Day

So it seems reasonable to assume Darwinism would weaken faster in America than in Europe and that seems to be happening. See: American young earth creationism increased in recent months - Gallup survey

Europe's economy affecting American economy

It is reasonable to assume that European economic problems would affect a U.S. economy that is presently under 16 trillion dollars of federal government debt. Thinktanks and financial reporters indicate for good reason that the European crisis could have a very significant effect on the United States economy.  See: How contagious is Europe's econmic crisis and  America bruised by Eurocrisis

So given America's greater religious freedom and a worsening economic situation that Darwinism would start unraveling faster in the United States than in Europe.  See: Why our Question Evolution! group is focusing on America and Canada and Creating a creationist majority in America

World creationism and European creationism

Belief in biblical creation rising in America and the rest of the world would have an effect on Europe due to global communication and religious immigration. And of course, the reverse is true to some extent as well. So we believe that working on spreading creationism in North America, the UK, France, Germany, Latin America, Norway, Italy, other European countries, Korea, China and other places will have a synergistic effect in terms of defeating Darwinism.

Speeding the collapse of Darwinism through Christian cooperation

Important questions:

1. What does recent Christian history tell us about evangelism and the benefits of Christian cooperation? Are their innovative Christian organizations achieving tremendous evangelism successes?

2.  Can these successes be applied to defeating Darwinism in the fastest possible time?

These questions are explored in our recent article: The benefits of a worldwide coalition of creationist organizations and creationists will be seen in 2013

Christian creationists, why wait?

Creationists, why wait for Darwinism to come crashing down in the latter half of the 21st century if it can largely happen in the first half? We agree Darwinism is merely a collection of pseudoscience held together by indoctrination, don't we? Let break the bonds of indoctrination sooner rather than later.  Let raise our level of dissent louder and louder until it cannot be ignored easily. So get involved in the Question Evolution!
