I have fond memories of my alma mater. I met a lot of nice people during my university studies and many of the professors were excellent. I am still am in contact with people I met at my university. I also visit my university from time to time.
However, an irritating incident occurred during one of my university lectures. Specifically, a history professor tried to enthusiastically
bring Darwinism into my history class. Of course, I politely challenged
him on this and he was forced to admit macroevolution is merely
conjecture and certainly not history. If you liked the fact that I did this, then I have a special treat for you today!
Dr. James Hannam is a historian of science specialising in the relationship between science and Christianity in the Medieval and Early Modern eras. His Masters (2003) is from Birkbeck College, University of London. In addition, he has a PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science from Pembroke
College, University of Cambridge (2008). Dr. Hannan's book God's Philosophers: How the Medieval World Laid the Foundations of Modern Science will be published by Icon.
