In 2007, The Economist published the above forecast of the number of Christians in the world and the percentage of Christians in the world based on the World Christian Database scholarship.
In 2013, religious scholars at the Center for the Study of Global Christianity, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, South Hamilton, Massachusetts, reported that by 2025 there will be 4,183,000 less atheists in the world and 352,969,000 more people professing to be Christians (registration is free to get the International Bulletin of Missionary Research which publishes their research at (see: 2013 Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary - status of Global Mission report).
Does history show that defeating Darwinism increases Christian evangelism?
Dr. Duane Gish was a biochemist, a creationist pioneer and a winner of over 300 debates with evolutionists at college campuses. He recently passed away at the age of 92. Dr. Gish endorsed the Question evolution! campaign and wished to see it "propagated widely".
The Institute of Creation Research wrote a trubute to Dr. Gish which declared:
In those early days, evolutionists were caught somewhat by surprise when a qualified speaker challenged their worldview, complete with a working knowledge of the relevant literature and research.So history does offer some evidence that decreasing Darwinism increases Christian evangelism.
Soon the lectures turned into debate opportunities, and Dr. Gish rose to the occasion. Over the years, he participated in over 300 formal debates, and by all accounts he won them all. Soon spokespersons for evolution were publicly recommending that evolutionists not debate Duane Gish, because they would surely lose. He never enjoyed the confrontations, but he relished the chance to present creation's evidences.
The debates and campus lectures were always billed as a scientific—not religious—comparison of the evidence for and against evolution. His opponents many times tried to discredit him as a scientist by branding him as a Bible-believer. He never denied his Christianity, but scrupulously stuck to the scientific evidence, never bringing up the Bible. No doubt, audiences knew where he was coming from, and in the process of presenting truth unapologetically, he gave a good testimony. Josh McDowell claimed ICR's work was "the cutting edge of evangelism." Christian campus groups reported a great harvest of souls following the debates.
Why we are expecting big results in 2013!
In previous articles, we have demonstrated that belief in biblical creationism is on the rise and that Darwinism, atheism and agnosticism are on the decline. The timing is excellent to spread Christianity and demolish evolutionary belief. See: Growth of creationism
Christian creationists working harder, faster and more efficiently than evolutionists will be a big boon to Christian evangelism. According we are significantly stepping up our efforts in 2013.
For example, we just sent out 15 draft copies of the upcoming Question evolution! book for middle school students via email. The author's son loved the book. We recently sent draft copies to young people in Texas, Saskatchewan, Canada and Australia. People were very excited about the book because the author was very creative and an excellent researcher. We will be sending out more draft copies to students in Louisiana very soon.
It will take 2-3 weeks for young people to read the draft copies. Useful feedback of the 15+ readers of the draft copies can be incorporated into the Question Evolution! book for middle school students. Then the pre-press stage of publishing will commence.
Before the Allied powers landed on the Normandy beaches, they first sent out special-purpose forces to prepare the way (reconnaissance, etc.). While the Question Evolution! book for middle school students is being prepared to promote and distribute, our Question Evolution! Campaign team will be busy forging alliances within Christendom so the book achieves its widest possible distribution. This way we can advance the grassroots campaign powerfully, efficiently and quickly through a network of Christians who can share the material with friends.

Evolutionists, are you ready for efficient, fast moving and powerful opposition? Judging by your inability to answer the 15 questions for evolutionists, I don't believe for a second that you are ready.
